Introduction: I offer vitality, hope and endurance! The spirit of my counseling invites others to move through change with compassion and care in order to heal from the pain of the past, discover your true self in the present and build on strengths to achieve a fuller and more meaningful future. I use gentle humor within a relaxed atmosphere to help others transform their lives one step at a time, aware that each step is in progress. I want to inspire hope and offer nurturing support to all. I work with individual, marital, family and group counseling. I was trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and work with children and adults who have experienced trauma. EMDR is a short-term treatment that has been shown to be rapidly effective. I am trained in Brainspotting, a relatively new therapy to help access and process trauma, negative emotions, and pain. My counseling philosophy is to listen with respect and care, to join clients on their journey, help discover solutions, and support growth, development and a sense of identity in each individual. I take a holistic approach to support each client in discovering their fuller, richer life in body, mind and spirit.
