FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One of the first questions that any client has is "so, how much is this going to cost." When you buy a shirt from the store, it has a pricetag - so that's easy. But, legal services and related costs vary on the complexity of the case. Chapter 7 bankruptcy (non-business) attorney fees can typically run anywhere from several hundred to several thousand dollars. Most typical is around $1,000. Chapter 13 is the same way but it's more expensive, usually $3,500 to $4,000 but the benefit to Chapter 13 for the client is that the bulk of the fee can be paid over time, whereas Chapter 7 fees must be paid upfront before a Chapter 7 case will be filed with the court.
