Evaluate issues to understand problems. Suggest solutions, then perform repairs. Best practice is to leave computer with me over night for hard drive repairs and clean operating (OSX) system installations.

$50 minimum on location service. At $25/hour. Typical service to an office or home is between $80~$150.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Came from Graphic Arts background and needed to know more about Mac systems. Soon became office "go to guy" for computer problems which began taking up all of my time. Took Apple training and became certified Apple Consutant.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Advertising Agencies, Print Shops, Guitar Shop, Lawyers, Doctors, Dentists, home computer users, novices and expert professional users. Replacing hard drives, motherboards and restore or repair OS installations (typical). Training, printer trouble shooting, plotter connections.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Converting a mostly PC Windows office to an all Macitosh environment an helping new Mac users get used to differences in platforms.

Make sure you are clear about what you actually want or need in your service request. Makes it easier and more accurate quoting on your tasks at hand.
