Introduction: I have been working with dogs for over 30 years as a dog behaviorists. The difference between my services and a training typically offered at a chain pet store is I don't just teach the dogs commands. First, I study the behavior of each dog to figure out why it is behaving the way they are and then address the behavior using a strategy appropriate to the desired outcome. Each case is unique because each dog is different. I do not use or promote the use of negative reinforcement training (prong collars, shock collars, etc…) No case is too aggressive to be addressed. I specialize in socialization, treadmill and potty training, as well as food/dog/human aggression and much more. I am absolutely able to travel in order to serve not only the Central Indy area but across the United States and prices are the best in the behaviorist industry. I am not a “Board and Train” I only do home sessions. It is the best way to get the dog you want in your environment. I TRAVEL ANYWHERE!

Vernon was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I are both first time puppy owners, and we were having trouble getting our little guy potty trained. There were so many things that we were doing wrong, and we didn’t even realize it. Our Yorkie is a completely different dog after Vernon‘s visit. Can’t recommend him enough!

Wow!! Cannot say enough good things about our session today with Marci. She was SO incredibly knowledgeable, and treated our dogs and family with respect the entire time. I love how she knew my name, my wife’s name, my son’s name, and my dogs’ names within three minutes of being in my house. She was able to address all of our issues, and I now have confidence to lead my dogs :) Also, I loved the treadmill training. The dogs loved it, and you could already tell their mental shift. I was having some behavior issues with my 6 month old female Rottweiler After Vernon and Marci helped us train her, I no longer have these problems. They trained me right along with the dog on how to handle her and it worked! I highly recommend these 2 to train your dog. They are wonderful people and we felt right at home with them. It was well worth it!

Vernon and Marci taught and equipped us with everything we need to teach Lucy, ( our 5 & 1/2 month old, Fox Red English Labrador puppy ), respectful and calm behavior. After 4 hours Lucy was already doing what we were training her to do. We thought we were doing what we were supposed to to train her but in reality we were doing all the wrong things causing her behavior to be worse. We were unknowingly rewarding bad behavior. They addressed every problem and even a couple we didn’t know were problems. They even had us get our daughter’s dog, an older lab, that Lucy would jump on and make miserable. We felt such a relief by the time they left. Also it was very important to us that shock collars, and anything negative and/or painful is NOT used! They also believe in training with positive reinforcement!!! They also gave us both of their personal phone numbers and encouraged us to call anytime we had any kind of questions and/or problems. We had never done anything like this before and didn’t know what to expect, but I would say they met and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Vernon and Marci!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$475 for a 4 hour session. $150 an hour, if under 4 hours $50 an hour if I cannot help with your issues. Travel is only charged if you are 1 hour away from Zionsville Indiana.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come to you and figure out why the dog has the behaviors and show you how to fix them. Or, I can help you create the perfect puppy.
