FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m pretty upfront. I try to be at market level for what other professionals are charging in the same area. Good quality photos cost a little money, not only because the amount of session time, but also because of the amount of editing that goes into a project as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know them and build a rapport. I like to make my clients comfortable and I’m usually cracking jokes to get my clients to smile or relax for those good candid shots. I love face to face interaction with my clients, but when that is not possible, a phone call is usually the next best thing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught when it comes to my editing and shooting style. I did take 2 full semesters of classes in highschool where my skill for portrait photography really came out. I also do multiple workshops throughout the year to get a fresh on current trends, and to engage with other professionals in the same field. You never know when you might learn something new from someone else!
