- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I studied Fine Art with a graphic design concentration at Indiana University Southeast. During the course of my B.F.A. I worked with many different media, both traditional and digital. Photography remained a major component throughout my artwork.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had a wedding that was booked last minute, only 3 days before the ceremony. It was a very small, intimate wedding and the bride initially said she wasn't going to have a photographer but her brother booked me as a surprise. The bride and her family were so grateful to have me and my husband there doing the photography. It was truly a beautiful day. Though I usually like to do more planning for an event, the short notice forced me to think on my toes which was an exciting challenge.
