She will be a perfect fit for what my daughter is needing in voice lessons. Everything was easy to set up & get started.
We aren't meeting until July because of my schedule not hers. She's been great to work with and get a date scheduled. I'm looking forward to my daughter taking piano and voice lessons with her. I couldn't be more thrilled. She responds quickly. Such an answer to our prayers for my daughter.
I signed up for voice lessons with Sarah, she was a great teacher and instructor.
Singing lessons for my daughter who is 8 years old and she absolutely love the teacher.
I am taking voice lessons and truly enjoying them; Carolyn is an excellent teacher!
Katey sang for our wedding in November of 2008. She was extremely professional and we could hear in her voice that she has a passion for music and singing. Katey is a very warm and friendly person, and was great to work with!
Evelyn Johnson has been working with my 9 year old daughter for several months. My daughter loves her time with her. She has improved so much in such a short time, not only vocally, but with self confidence as well. She has experienced recitals, competitions and auditions and is currently in two musicals locally. I can't say enough wonderful things about Evelyn Johnson!
I took voice and piano lessons from David for a period of about three years and always found him to be encouraging, reliable, and meticulous in his work, not to mention the fact that he is an absolute expert in his field as well as an outstanding performer. He meets you at your individual level and helps you select music that challenges you to grow as a musician even as it suits your ability at the time. He then pinpoints areas where you could improve, giving you helpful feedback and personal exercises tailored to addressing those areas where you could become better. He also gives you valuable coaching on all aspects of performance, including tips on your carriage, how to show emotion, and phrasing the music to name a few. I would enthusiastically recommend taking lessons from him whether you are interested in recreational lessons or becoming a professional performer. He will inspire you to reach beyond what you thought you'd be able to do and help you to reach your goals.
I am a guitar/voice student with Bart at Reno's and he's great! I call him "The Song Doctor" because he revives songs I bring in with technique and great ideas! He is an amazing guitarist and patient teacher, even when I struggle. He knows music theory well and can teach this knowledge in an understandable and interesting way. Lessons are fun and non intimidating. Reno's Music is cool and I always feel welcome.
David really helped my daughter. We had had voice teachers in the past but I felt like she was only learning songs. David helped her become a real performer. David is always professional and very reliable. My daughters singing range has really increased and is able to sing songs she never felt possible.
My granddaughters have been receiving piano and voice lessons for several years. They continually improve and love it! The enjoy participating in the plays and showcases and the family always has a great time when attending the extra activities, also.
I take piano and voice lessons from Morgan and she is fantastic! I've been working with her for about a month and have already gotten noticeably better in both areas. I would recommend her to anyone of any age, she's great with kids! She makes everything simple to understand and explains things very well. Defiantly the best teacher I've had!
What a great lesson! It was fun, entertaining, and educational. Renee immediately put me at ease, made me comfortable and we got right to work! Cannot wait for the lessons to continue!
My daughter took weekly voice lessons with Amy for a little over 5 years. Amy started with a young, middle school girl who had a desire to sing; she ended with a young, confident woman who was starting college as a music performance major! Amy is extremely professional. Her rates are fair and competitive. Her hours are flexible. Her style and method of teaching are top notch! My daughter learned so much from Amy that it is impossible to put into words. However, anytime my daughter sang, people always asked with whom she studied--it was very apparent that my daughter was well-trained. A extra special benefit in training with Amy is that you will get to hear her sing. Amy is a fabulous singer and teacher!!!
Marquese Carter is an operatic tenor and voice teacher. Marquese offers lessons in classical singing, beginning music theory, and lyric diction! Marquese is open to high school students preparing for college auditions, as well as established singers looking for continued vocal guidance. Marquese holds the degree Master of Music in Voice Performance and Pedagogy (pedagogy emphasis) from Westminster Choir College and is currently pursuing his doctorate at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music. Marquese enjoys writing poetry, traveling, and reading in his spare time.
I'm able to play the piano at a high level which unfortunately many voice teachers are not able to do; this allows my students to receive not only high level vocal technique training but a vocal coach-accompanist experience as well - all in the same lesson. I also have experience teaching every age and all levels of singing. I have singers who are rank beginners and singers who sing at the highest professional levels as opera and musical theatre professionals, and everything in between. I enjoy them all!
I give private piano and voice lessons in my home studio. I have taught privately for over 20 years.
I am a first year master's student in voice at the Jacob's School of Music. I also hold a Bachelors Degree from the Jacob's School. I have much experience with the voice based on my own years of technical and performance training. I am willing to teach most styles including classical, musical theatre, or jazz. I am willing to teach any age from children to college students. Teaching location would be at the Jacobs School of Music.
I have maintained a studio of dedicated students who are pleased with their progress and happily continue their studios. Their successes are a reflection of their hard work and the knowledge I give them.
I am a professional singer, musician, and voice teacher. I hold a bachelor of music in voice performance and a master of music degree in voice performance and music history, both from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University. With musical interests ranging from ancient music and the music of Bach and Beethoven to world music, modern pop and musical theatre, I very much enjoy working with students of any age, and with any level of skill. I have extensive training in vocal technique and music pedagogy and have been privileged to work with many prominent and highly esteemed musicians, including baritone Timothy Noble, soprano Sylvia McNair, mezzo-soprano Patricia Stiles, baritone Dale Moore, and coaches Kevin Murphy and Gary Arvin.
