FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rates vary between $150-285 per hour on typical cases depending on what service we are providing. For simple cases, we offer a flat one time fee for the entire process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
How does our process work? You both provide us with the information needed to formally resolve the dispute. In our meeting the forms required for filing will be populated, signed and ready for filing. We will address areas of common concern regarding children, property, asset division and support. Following our initial meeting and if our mediation is going through the court, a 60 day statutory waiting period must lapse before the final filing of paperwork will complete the process. During the 60 day time frame, we will draft a mediated agreement and any other documents. Those documents will be communicated to both of you through email for review and edits. Once we have drafted an agreement both of you agree on you will come back to our office one more time to review and notarize the agreement. We will file those documents electronically with the court on your behalf. Generally, after about 5-10 additional days pass, the judge will approve the agreement.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff is mixed of different professions including; attorneys, financial planners and therapists.
