My search for a personal trainer was for my 17 year old son. I was looking for someone who would zero in on specific training for the sport my son is in. Michael has surpasssed our expectations of training, listening and understanding my son's needs. Michael takes the time to know his clients and equip them with workouts that can easily be done at home to supplement what is being learned in the gym. Rich is an excellent trainer! Although I initially trained with him one-on-one for a few sessions at a fitness club, the majority of my training stemmed from participation in his 6 week boot camps. I didn't think he'd be able to work with me because of all the physical limitations I had, but he adjusted the tensity of the training to suit my individual needs. He never once made me feel like it was a chore to work with me - which was very important and impressive to a person like me who think she's "untrainable" - nor did he make me feel like I was less of a participant because I couldn't keep up with the rest of the class. He was extremely patient, very sincere, hardworking and always exhibited a positive and encouraging demeanor - all of the characteristics you'd look for and want in a true and serious personal trainer. Bob has been my personal trainer for more than 10 years. Although I do most of my workouts independently, Bob is the one who designs and/or modifies my exercise routines. He is not only extremely knowledgeable about which routines are appropriate for specific results, but also has an extensive understanding of the medical underpinnings of what those routines do. I am 78 years old and I credit Bob for helping me be able to actively participate in my love of white-water kayaking, downhill skiing, and powered paragliding.

When I initially began my search for a personal trainer I wasn't really sure what I wanted. I just knew I needed to make a change. Jack reached out to me after I created a post on Thumbtack looking for trainers in my area. He was very up front about his background and expertise, which is something I value in a professional trainer. We had an initial appointment to discuss my options and he was willing to work with my schedule as well as offer affordable payments. Jack has given me numerous tools to be successful on this weight loss journey. We started with a guide for better eating, which has been a fantastic improvement in my life, because I knew I needed to eat healthier, but I wasn't sure what foods would ultimately be best for me. Currently, we train together two days a week, and Jack provides me with workouts and training guidelines to be successful outside of our sessions. I am usually able to get to the gym 3-4 times during the days we don't train, which has been a fantastic change in my lifestyle. I used to be afraid to go to the gym by myself, because I had no clue what I was doing. I feel like I have a great foundation now, which has ultimately provided me with the internal motivation to lead a healthier lifestyle. Overall, the beginning of this journey has been a fantastic experience. I'm able to do more physically than I ever have before, and I'm motivated to put in the time and effort to be able to do so. The sessions are difficult, but I always feel encouraged by Jack to push myself harder and I never feel uncomfortable doing it. With Jack's help, I've managed to lose about 20 lbs in almost two months, which is something I didn't even think was possible. I could barely do a push up when we started, and I'm lifting weights and running miles at a time now. I'm looking forward to continue working with Jack to see the progress I'll make in a few more months.

My training with Neil is not only amazing but it's dedication. If you ever need to get back in shape or you ever need to build some muscle Neil is the person you should go to. He never made me feel like I needed to give up because he was there to not only give me support but he gave me his effort to help me out. It can be difficult once you start but it's all worth it at the end. So those days where your stuck at home and your trying to do something better for yourself why don't you hit the gym with a new personal trainer. John is one of the most knowledgeable and personable trainers that I have had the opportunity to work with. He is well versed in the field of Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, and Exercise Prescription for every level of athlete, from soccer mom, to weekend warrior, to colligate athletes, to military personnel. I have had the privilege of working with John as one of his clients as well as his coworker. He does a great job communicating ideas as well as coach points and I have had the pleasure of using him as a source of knowledge to better my coaching and methodology as a trainer/coach. I would highly recommend John to anyone who is interested in achieving their fitness goals no matter what shape or condition they are currently in.
Danny is awesome! I've been training with him for about a month and a half. It's challenging and fun. Danny is always most supportive. The best part is that he genuinely cares. I'm seeing results and I love that he personalizes the workout and nutrition. I highly recommend him!
