FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing comes from a lot of things. The first thing that influences my price is my experience. I have been taking photos for a long time now. My equipment also goes into my pricing. I like to invest in different things and keeping my equipment updated. The proper equipment can help me achieve the creative lighting situations, or a camera that allows a photo to be blown up to the size of a billboard and still be sharp. There is also a lot of education and software involved in photography.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For headshots and portraits, explaining posing and getting them comfortable in front of the camera. Then we have fun and shoot whatever comes natural. Are you a more serious person? Then lets do something with that! Are you one of those people that always has a smile? Then maybe that should be your headshot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self taught for the past 7 years. I am always reading, and more importantly I am always taking photos. Its a never ending learning process. There are always new ways to try using your lights, finding new locations to shoot at, or getting the newest gadget because it will open up more possibilities to make new and different photographs.
