Wills and Estate Planning
Arlene Kline was great! I found her through Thumbtack and she returned my email right away. I believe I decided to move forward with her on the 20th of July and by the 28th my Will, and living Will we’re done and in hand. I am a teacher and was returning to work on the 30th and wanted to get this finished before going back. Arlene is very knowledgeable and also very reasonable in price. She is very friendly and I would highly recommended her.Aug 1, 2020Verified
Arlene Kline is an exceptional attorney. She helped me with my Dad's estate in every way. She stepped in when she found that the contractor working on my Dad's house was over charging me and fixed the problems. She was very knowledgeable on contractual work and saved me a lot of money. Arlene also found me an excellent realtor and the house was sold within one day. After all of that, she has set up my will and other documents I may need for the future. I now consider her my attorney for all future needs I may have.Aug 7, 2018
I could tell right away she knew what she was talking about. I did not think she had to do research and add a lot of billable hours like a lot attorneys do.Sep 17, 2018
My sister and I were referred to Ms. Kline by Chase Bank in Brownsburg 10 years ago after our dad passed away. She was a blessing to us because we had a mess she was able to resolve all our issues within a very reasonable time. She also did my husband and my estate planning and helped me with my sister's estate this past summer. We highly recommended her to anyone who is in need if an estate lawyer!Sep 13, 2018

I had a wonderful experience working with Arlene Kline. She truly cared about me and went above and beyond to make sure i get the best possible outcome for what i needed. It sometimes felt surreal working with someone with that much passion for getting what i needed done in a short period of time yet putting so much thought into it.Aug 15, 2018Verified
License Type: Attorney (IN)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The fees are determined by the type of work and hours it will take to complete the job. You get the value of the know how and experience that keeps the costs lower. For estate planning, simple wills are not always simple once we review your desires and wishes. If you want Specific Bequests added, a testamentary trust for minors, have directions on burial, want to name a guardian for your minor child this should be included and if a quoted a flat cost, it is important that your estate plan be right. The contingencies that other attorneys or companies that advertise forms may not ask and include that are needed. Estates will have costs for the filing fee, publication, bond, e-file fee and legal fees will be based on the work. Supervised versus unsupervised, whether there is a will or no will, types of probate assets to be administered are done hourly but a range can be given once the facts are known.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A brief telephone call to review the type of work you need and the proper procedure. If it is an estate plan, I have a confidential will questionnaire that can be completed a head of time and clients pay one-half retainer, or determined at an initial meeting. Estate plans can be done in one or two meetings, depending on how complicated your plan will be. For estates, I can gather most information from you by telephone, and have the documents ready to sign at the meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I obtained my law degree at Indiana University School of Law. Prior to my law degree I was a probate paralegal and had Probate Paralegal Services where I assisted other attorneys with estate. My continuing education is current by speaking or attending law seminars.
