Introduction: I have years of hands on experience in medical research, with an undergrad degree in Chemistry, and have taught Molecular Biology at the graduate level. I also have a Masters in Journalism. An unusual skill set that can be very useful. I am experienced at editing scientific manuscripts and working with those who do not have English as their first language. I can catch the form/from does/dose kind of mistakes that spell check can miss. I have written content for newsletters and done one on one interviews. In other words: I can write, edit and understand science. I am also an experienced quilter, I've written articles of interest to quilters, and taught lessons at quilt guild meetings.
