- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always enjoyed cooking and creating cool recipes to share with my family and friends. The dream to own my own food truck began several years ago while watching a movie with a food truck in it. Since that moment, it became a dream to open a food truck. As a school teacher, I shared my passion and dream with my students who helped inspire me to follow my dreams!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I really enjoy going to places where the fun is happening! (Company picnics, festivals, weddings, parties, farmer's markets, etc.) When you own a restaurant, people have to come to you, but with a food truck... we go to where the party is happening! It is great fun to join in the everyday celebrations of life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to let a food trucker know a ball park number of people who will be eating from the truck. It is hard when we prepare food for 50, but 100 people want to buy food. We don't like to say that we ran out of food.
