When my son, Archer, started swim class at the beginning of the summer he screamed the entire time. Adam was patient and never let the crying deter him from teaching. Now, crying only occurs when the session is over and Archer has to get out of the water. Unfortunately, Adam was only able to work with Archer a few months, but in that time Archer learned a great deal. Not only was Adam able to teach Archer swimming skills, he showed him how much fun it is to be able to swim. I couldn’t have asked for a better swim teacher. We wish he didn’t have to leave Longwood!

Our almost 5-year old developed a fear of water in his face after many attempts at different types of swimming instructions. After just a few classes with Coach Brian, I watched something click in him and he knew suddenly that he could totally go underwater! My son spent the next 2 hours swimming underwater and diving for toys. He now truly thinks he is a fish 🐠 Highly recommend Swim Lesson Club Jacksonville!

About

I am a person who swam for more than 7 years. I can teach any age, may it be a infant, or an adult, I will try my best to teach! I have great patience (I have absolute no idea how I obtain such thing) and a tiny sense of humor. I guarantee that you/your children will love these cheap classes! (Please note that this is my first time teaching classes!)

About

I have been swimming competitively for 5-1/2 years now, and I love to teach children how to swim and to coach in swimming. I love to see people get better and accomplish their goals, so I will push you but not more than I know you can handle. I like to be actively involved in the teaching process and participating alongside my students.

Our first lesson with Hercules was amazing. He worked with our 2 year old daughter and 5 year old son who is autistic. We are amazed at what was accomplished in such a short amount of time. Hercules is very calm and patient. His ability to motivate our children to submerge their heads under water on the very first lesson is impressive. His adaptability and ability to "read" the individual child's needs is a gift; especially with special needs children. Hercules is not only great with kids, but parents too as I was a nervous wreck this first lesson as I did not know what to expect. Hercules explained the what and why of each excercise. We are so glad we found him as we have been putting off swim lessons for too long. We are confident our kids will be able to quickly learn lifesaving swim skills as long as we have Hercules as their instructor.

Coach Austin has instructed our boys for several years and has always done a wonderful job! She is extremely patient, yet focused, and creates a fun environment for children to learn the necessary skills for safety in the water and to develop excellent swimming technique.

Taylor comes to your house and first evaluates your child and then has the lessons tailored for their skill level. We have two 2 year olds and they are already kicking and putting their face under at only the 3rd lesson. Doing them in our own pool is so awesome!

About

I teach self-rescue swim lessons for children 6 months to 6 years old. Students are taught to swim with their face in the water, roll to their back to catch their breath/rest, and flip back over to swim. They repeat this sequence until they reach the steps/wall. It typically takes a child 4 to 6 weeks to become fully skilled.
