Working with Rich has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life. He started off as my personal trainer back in 2011 and I've stuck with him ever since! When he contacted me to see if I'd be interested in his BCC class, I HAD to join. Rich not only guides and coaches you to your goals, but he also CARES! not many trainers do.. He knows when to push you, gives advice on things to do at home like certain stretches if you're sore, he knows nutrition, and he knows how to have FUN during class. If anyone is interested in becomming a client of Rich, I recommend him with such great appreciation. He won't let you down. You'll see a better you. Trust me! Hope to see some new faces pretty soon!!
Initially my doctor referred me to Trainer Bob to begin a consistent exercise routine. I have type II Diabetes and needed to make some lasting lifestyle changes.Trainer Bob is awesome!!!! I hesitated to contact him at first because I was self-conscious about training with someone and going to a gym where everyone looks great. I'm glad I finally made the call and got started. Trainer Bob uses a private gym just for trainers. That put me at ease right away. He has a wonderful personality and really makes an investment in each of his clients. I have been training for about 8 months with Bob. In that time I have lost a bit of weight and more importantly have been able to stop taking one of my medications!!! Bob not only helps with fitness, but coaches you on nutrition and lifestyle changes to help you accomplish your personal goals. In addition, he keeps the workouts interesting, gives you 'homework' and helps keep you focused on lifelong changes. Bob is accommodating with schedules, provides lots of encouragement and always greets you with a positive attitude!!! I highly recommend Trainer Bob for anyone who wants to get fit, make long term, lasting changes and have fun along the way!!!
I have been training with John for over 1.5 years. John is an outstanding personal trainer. I deal with autoimmune issues, and John is able to put together a great workout each time, knowing when he can push my body and when it's best to go easy. His extensive knowledge of the body's muscle structure allows him to target the areas my body really needs more strength. The best part of training with John, a brother in Christ, is the prayer and fellowship. I get buff both physically and spiritually! I would recommend John to anyone wanting to improve their strength and health - from a person just starting out to a professional body builder. John has the expertise for all levels of training.
Jack has trained me and my husband for five years. I highly recommend him to anyone. He is a wonderful person and a great coach. He pushes us when we need it, but always in an affirming, positive way. Every training session my husband and I work hard, sweat and sometimes doubt our ability to do something, but we always end the workout with a smile and a feeling of satisfaction at having accomplished more than we thought we could. Go for it!!
This is a great facility with great programs but more importantly the owners are people who truly care about you and your health and well being. They are extremely knowledgeable and will help and encourage you throughout your journey. There is no such thing as a magic pill to take to instantly become fit. You have to work out more than once and eat a balanced diet for more than a day if you want to get into shape. At the Workhorse Gym you will get sound (and certified) nutritional advice, workout advice, instruction on how to properly and safely use resistance training to really up your fat burning game, and the best darn cheerleaders ever to help motivate you when you just aren't feeling it. This is a no judgement zone and I feel perfectly comfortable pouring my lumpy, bumpy gut into spandex leggings and getting my sweat on during a cardio kickboxing class or strength training. My lumpy is going away, I'm seeing booty gains, and I can always count on Ron to see when I am about to throw in the towel and give me that last little push and voice of encouragement to make it those last 30 seconds or lift that one last heavy rep.
Kru Jamie teaches the art of Muay Thai in a way that is true to the sport. Not only does she teach the fundamentals for Muay Thai but she encourages discipline and pushes you to reach your potential, all while enjoying the sport. Her passion for the sport exudes through her coaching. Her coaching is world class. Literally. After her return from Thailand, where she trained with some of the best coaches, she was ecstatic about teaching our class the techniques she learned. I couldn't have asked for a better coach that is more opened and welcoming to taking you on a journey that is life changing. Looking forward to continuing this journey at the new gym.
I've had the pleasure of meeting with Zach- the lead encourager- on several occasions and have been blown away by his ambition and enthusiasm! It's so wonderful to work with someone who has so much passion and commitment to MY personal fitness, health, and overall well-being. At the start, I was skeptical that I would ever be able to commit to any sort of fitness structure. But Zach has taken the time to get to know my personal needs, and inspire me to work toward a healthier lifestyle, while still maintaining a work-life balance. Encourage-Fit is a great program that has instilled so much energy and optimism into my lifestyle. I would recommend that anyone looking to improve their health or physical fitness reach out to Encourage-Fit!
I have back problems and have always had trouble working out in the gym. I have lots of goals to just become healthy and I knew I would have to figure out how to work out safely and now hurt myself. I heard about Maurice from a friend so I thought I'd give him a shot and he has exceeded my expectations between modifying the workout for me or finding a new workout all together within seconds. He's also a great resource for any health question you might have.
John is very talented & has great diversity in his approach for personal coaching. My experience with John brought me greater understanding of how weight lifting and other types of movements can be benifical as I age. Also, his coaching on the correct way to do the movements will last me a life time!
Stefanie is the best personal trainer out there! I have gone through several different trainers over the years, but she is the one who understood me the most. She is very knowledgable, caring and encouraging to her clients! She always puts in the extra effort to make a connection with her clients and learn their specific needs. She is a great teacher/coach, as well as a great friend/cheerleader. In my opinion, that's priceless.
Almost 11 years ago I was overweight with body fat at 34% (I'm only 5'2" and weighed almost 160lbs.) A friend and I decided to go to Studio 22 to see what it was all about! We joined that day, went to see Brad 3-4 days a week, was coached on fitness, healthy eating, lifestyle changes, etc.! Within the first year, my body fat was less than 20%, weight 125, and Brad coached me to do my first figure competition, which I won! I did another figure competition, then went on to now doing power lifting! Over the years I have come to really depend on Brads expertise to keep me fit and healthy! He is the best trainer, friend, mentor and overall great person! I continue to go to Studio (Warner Fit) cause I know if I don't, not only would I become obese again, but my mind, body and spirit would suffer greatly! Brad changed my life! 🏋🏻💪
Courtney has been my health coach for about a month now and in that time I have set weekly goals and with her help reached them. I can't wait to recap in our 60 and 90 day reviews to see how far I've come. I truly appreciate her dedication to not only helping me physically but mentally and emotionally as well. She truly wants the best for me and to make sure that I make a lifelong lifestyle transformation!
I love First Step Fitness. It has really been a game changer to my life and health. It’s a great program with great prices. He works you hard for the results you are seeking. He’s very knowledgeable. I love it and hope to continue my steps to a better looking body.
Jennifer is great at what she does, helping you get out of your own way to make your dreams a reality. I can't even tell you the progress I've made since starting to have her coach me. I stepped out and started my own business (which I had been looking at doing for years), I'm in a successful relationship, my life is being decluttered to eliminate the noise, and I'm focusing on what matters. It was hard for me to justify paying a coach at first. After struggling to break some self limiting thoughts for years, I thought, "what the heck do I have to lose. We only live once and I've been stuck in this spot for a while. Let's see if this helps". I don't how to explain it, but just having someone to talk through the big things of life with has helped me immensely. Maybe it's having someone to hold me accountable to take steps towards my dreams and goals, or listening with observations to help me break free from being in negative thought cycles that didn't serve me. All I know is that the progress I've made this year has been incredible, and I know much of it is because I started coaching with Jenn.
I met Dawn and we had an instant rapport. Our conversation somehow guided us to talking about food and we found we both were gluten and dairy free. It was great to find a kindred spirit. Someone who understood the trials of dietary restrictions (in my case - due to celiac disease). When I learned she is a Health Coach, I wanted to learn more, so I became a client. When I started seeing Dawn in January, I was suffering from GERD, digestive issues, and chronic headaches. These symptoms had greatly improved in recent years by removing gluten and dairy from my diet, but I still suffered set backs (from travel) and it was clear there were other triggers. I had not been able to figure them out. Our first meeting Dawn listened and asked a ton of questions. In future sessions, she reviewed my recent lab results and identified areas where I was deficient. She recommended supplements (in addition to ones I was already taking). Furthermore, she told easy ways to add more Iron into my diet. Each time we met, I left with a checklist of things to do and I tried not to waste any time, so I'd have time to see if the changes helped before our next session. Every meeting I was able to discuss changes I've made and gauge improvement. It wasn't until our last session when I realized I hadn't used all my migraine pills that month. Typically, I would need a prescription refill every month and would even get fearful that I might run out before I could refill. When we calculated the number of pills remaining vs. how many I would normally use in a month, we determined that my headaches improved roughly 75-80%! It was unbelievable! Additionally, I was taking prescription medication for GERD. I had tried in the past to stop taking medication and instead use healthier alternatives to treat my GERD, but I was never successful. Dawn helped me approach it from a different angle. She explained the science of it. We discussed what I normally ate and drank. She explained the obvious food and beverages (coffee) that I should avoid and also helped me discover other triggers that upset my reflux. In time, I have improved tremendously. I have not taken my prescription medicine since early January and my symptoms are 95% improved and getting better every day. I came into this 100% committed to doing what was right for my body, but frustrated because I still was struggling and couldn't find the answers to conquering my headaches, GERD and digestive issues. Dawn's recommendations made sense. They were simple to do. She followed up each session and made me accountable. In between sessions, she sent follow up emails and texts. She provided me tips on delicious and healthy food, locally sourced foods, educational articles, and recipe. She taught me about harmful GMO's, pesticides, toxins and gave me a better understanding of how to read food labels so I could avoid unhealthy foods. I've been able to quietly implement so many changes in our household and I feel better about the meals I am preparing for my family. The experience has been invaluable and life changing and I cannot recommend her services enough! Thank you Dawn for helping me find better health!

Our business stands out due to our professional coaches practice of supporting an individual, referred to as a client, through the process of achieving a specific personal or professional result. The structure and methodologies of coaching are very numerous with one unifying feature, coaching approaches are predominantly facilitating in style, which is to say that the coach is mainly asking questions and challenging the client. Thus bringing about behavioral change and helping people understand how their cognitive and emotional reactions can interfere with personal effectiveness, performance, and well-being. A skilled practitioner who establishes a strong relationship of trust with their clients conducts behavioral change. Some of the core skills are the same such as deep listening and questions that raise awareness. Some of the underlying philosophies behind coaching are, similar to conventional therapy. Like coaching, a variety of therapy practices embrace a client-centered collaborative partnership that encourages clients to acknowledge their creativity and find their own unique solutions. Coaching is different from therapeutic disciplines in one crucial factor that is in diagnosing and prescribing mental illness. There is a variety of approaches to the coaching methodology that are equally effective from that of conventional therapy. A coach aims to bring together and highlight all the possibilities that will help mold and shape the visioning process for clients as they create a plan and execute the details. It is the transference from attaining a short-term goal into the long-term goal then and maintaining it as an accomplished one. Coaching is performed with individuals and groups, in person, over the phone and online.

I have been thinking about, studying, and experimenting with health and wellness concepts for about 20 years. I would never recommend something to someone I haven't tried myself. My general philosophy is: give me 2 hours a week for 8 weeks and I will teach you enough so that you will have enough knowledge to train yourself.
