Introduction: I'm equipped with a plethora of knowledge and the ability to help your child obtain a positive self image and continue to build on his/her mindset that he/she can do it! After being in the field of education for over thirty five years, I've had the opportunity to connect with many children from various backgrounds as well as varied emotional and educational scenarios. I have a lifetime teacher's license, with three degrees; AAS, BS in Education, & MS in Education. My experience ranges from kindergarten through the college level. I am rated as a "Highly Effective" teacher.m To be able to see the "light go on" and the student is excited about learning is what makes me happy! I meet each student at his/her level and build from this point forward. The entire process is a gratifying experience for me.

Jorja and I worked on the same team teaching 6th grade in Franklin Township. She is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable on instructing children of various levels and age groups. I highly recommend her for a private tutor.

We only got to work with "Miss Jorja" for part of the summer, and I so wish we had gotten more time with her! She worked with our son who was heading to 2nd grade, and our experience was top notch. From our initial meeting, to our last session, we were pleased every step of the way. I intend on getting in touch with her next summer, and we're so thankful for the thumbtack program and how easy it made this whole process!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $45./ hour but can vary, based on the number of times per week that I tutor.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session will be a "Meet and Greet"/. I would like to discuss with your child what his/her concerns are concerning his/her educational progress. I will assess your child's needs based on their responses, my oral and written evaluations as well as your input.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Associate in Applied Science, Bachelor of Science in Education, and a Masters of Science in Education. I've taught from kindergarten through college level students. I have my life time teacher's license from Indiana. I was classified as a highly effective teacher.
