FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At TruConstruction we don't want any surprise change orders. Our bid is everything we can think of to make sure your job gets completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all depends on the scale of the job. On our normal basement finishing or room remodel we like to meet the client at the job site to talk about their ideas and designs. Then take measurements for a blueprints and 3D models. We then work on the blueprint for a few days and communicate with the client to make sure the update/new footprint of their home is what they want. Once we get the okay from the client, we send it off to get estimated. We get a count on materials and send it off to get pricing. We also talk to the client about flooring, cabinets, and finishings. Some things need a cabinet designer which we have the client talk with and pick out what they want. Once we get all our numbers together we send out our estimate to the client. We like to sit down with the client and go through it together but that all depends on the client and if they want to or have the time.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
