- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, we do have a standard pricing model. Most services come at a flat rate, and here are a few services below: Computer Assembly/Build - $70 - Includes all hardware is detected in BIOS, and operating system ready to be set up. Customer provides Operating System Product Key/Disc, or additional cost required if Operating system is needed. Individual Hardware Component Installation/Replacement - $35 Components can include Processor/Ram/Graphics Card/Power Supply/Network Cards or other PCI-E Components/Disc Drives. Additional cost required if need to purchase new component. Virus/Malware/Spyware/Adware/Rootkit Removal - $60 flat rate despite time it takes to clean. Great value over hourly rate. This can be done remotely as well, which means you do not need to leave your home or office as long as the infected computer has internet access. Home/Small Business Networking - $75 for new setup/$45 to diagnose and resolve issues. Includes installing and configuring wireless router and Wi Fi network to your satisfaction. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gage any and all information on the issue they are having, or the expectations they have with a new computer build, or experienced issue to ensure we meet their standards. Work through and resolve the issue, or guide the customer on the next steps to get the issue resolved. Provide tips on maintaining a healthy computer, and avoid having future issues. Ensure the customer is satisfied with the work I've completed and make my contact information available for any future needs or requests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being employed with Apple, Golden Technologies, Family Express IT team, Comcast and AT&T, I have gathered experience over the years in customer service and technical support. I currently have a Microsoft Technology Associate Certification (MTA), as well as a Computer Hardware Certification from NCSA (National Computer Science Association) I am constantly in the pursuit of certifications as well as keeping up with as much technology as possible. Looking to soon add an A+ and Network + certification as well.
