Introduction: I am an Officiant that travels. Why? Because what is more fun than bringing two people together forever? Nothing! Providing Officiant services to my couples fills my heart with joy. I feel so much gratitude for being chosen to fulfill this role. I specialize in elopements and fun weddings. I am happy to provide wedding officiant services at my location or yours anywhere in Indiana or Southwestern Michigan. A simple elopement wedding can start your new lives quickly and simply. I love to have fun and hope you both do too. If you are looking for old school and stuffy ceremony I may not be your cup of tea. I love surprises, so if you are looking to just show up and Get Hitched on spur the moment, that is my idea of a good time! I live in Rochester and I offer a discount when you come to me for wedding services, the cost for this service is $100. I have a day job so elopements during the week will need to occur after 5 PM. My profile will show I am unavailable during the week. Please go ahead and reach out, if I can make it work, I will respond. I even offer a $75 license signing service at my location available most days. This option is only available for booking online with Get Hitched Indiana. Northeast and Northwest Indiana weddings are $250 and I am also happy to road trip but charge an added reasonable fee for the mileage and travel time. I will be sure to advise you of the added fee in our first connection so you can be well informed. My goal for you as a couple is to Get Hitched without creating barriers or hoops to jump through. I have a 100% refund policy up until 24 hours before your event, no questions asked. I ask that all booking be paid with 7 days of your initial consultation and mutual acceptance that I will perform your ceremony. This will secure your requested date and time. Accommodations can be made on an as needed basis to the payment policy, I am very flexible because I very much want to perform your ceremony.

Mary is such a pro! (and has a perfect name for her line of work) Yes, she is a fantastic wedding officiant, but more importantly, a warm and kind person. Right from the start, she responded quickly, happily offered and welcomed ways to customize our vows, provided examples and didn't balk at all when I was regrettably 15 minutes late to the ceremony. She is friendly, and easy going and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a warm personality to get hitched. Look no further, she's your gal.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not normally accept weddings which require us to attend a rehearsal because of the extra travel requirement for the rehearsal. We can on occasion be available for local rehearsals for an added fee. Email or call to discuss if that is an option you are needing. Want to just get hitched quick and save money? Meet me in my hometown of Rochester, Indiana at one of our local parks with your valid marriage license, your love and $100. I am available most evenings for this service if you are flexible with the time of your ceremony. We even have a room with a wedding arch that you can be married in front of. It is great for pictures and there is no added cost. Get Hitched Indiana is able and willing to perform events in Michigan and Illinois, however we normally decline events in Chicago due to the traffic.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will email or call you to discuss your event. From there if you would like vow examples or help writing vows, we can assist. We can even schedule a Zoom meeting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am ordained through the Universal Life Church based in Seattle.
