- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I did have. I've been trying to simplify it recently but there's always a lot of variables with weddings. If you've got a budget (and most of my customers are on a pretty tight budget) I will work with you to get your most important requirements satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read, a lot, and I'm always looking to find out how someone took a particularly elegant photo.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started taking pictures just of friends and their parties and weddings. I've always been fascinated by the techniques of getting better pictures. People kept saying "you're better than the professional we hired" and asking me to photograph their friends' weddings; so I started charging. It's great fun and I've gotten to meet a lot of really cool people.
