David has many years of experience and emphasized the positive aspects of my singing and helped me improve posture, breathing and my vocal range in just three sessiona. He was very encouraging and I looked forward to our singing lessons. He helped me have the confidence to sing a song for my husband on our wedding day.
My two sons, 5 & 7, love learning from Mr. Bob! He’s very patient with the kids and talented with multiple instruments (piano, guitar, drums). He holds high expectations for his students, which allows my kids to progress rather quickly. I’ve been very happy with having Mr. Bob as their music teacher; the boys always look forward to going to music lessons.
David has been a great drum teacher for my two kids, ages 5 and 7 (started when 4 and 6). He was very patient with them tailored the instruction to their abilities. I am a semi-professional musician (played in touring indie band) and therefore appreciated David's mix of formal music instruction (i.e. sight reading and annotation) and "jamming" (forming intrinsic feel). Highly recommend David.
Michele is very personable, patient and just flat out awesome to work with! I'd been meaning to take singing lessons for some time and finally got around to doing it. I've played music for years and studied Jazz/Classical guitar in college and could recognize right away that Michele is a true talent and knows what she's doing. By the end of the introductory class I knew I'd found the right teacher to help me develop my ear and my voice.
Me and my son's experience while working with Paul was very welcoming. Paul was very easy to work with along with having a creative and keen sense of musical direction. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Love working with her. Am an older singer who struggles with my middle range. Janet keeps me in good voice with her understanding of what the bottom line problem is, and creative lessons and easy to understand direction.
Al Gorney tailors his music lessons to fit with each student's learning styles and interests. Students not only learn to read traditional notation, but also are taught to play by ear, improvise and compose. My children love working with "Mr. Al".
Such a great teacher. Kept me focused during the most difficult lessons, always positive and gives great constructive feedback. She is extremely talented.
My son loves piano lessons. The credit goes to Ms. Russkoff.
I couldn't have asked for more from Greg's approach. He adjusted and tailored his style and our lessons to meet me where I was at yet provided the right level of challenge to keep me motivated
Elizabeth Knox is very dedicated to her students, instructing with a level of detail and determination that inspires those she teaches to practice with the same intensity that she offers to them. Her holistic approach to vocal training can benefit voices of all ranges and skill levels, and I have made definite improvement in problem areas I had been unable to make a breakthrough with before. Lessons are never cut-and-dry-- each visit something new is addressed and worked on, from learning repertoire and refining technique, to stage presence and lessons on how our bodies produce sounds. I'm very thankful to have found her.
Ms. Suzanne is very, very kind. My daughter really looks forward to her piano lessons each week. Ms. Suzanne is very patient and has a real talent for working with her students.
I've taken guitar lessons over the years and Fran is the best instructor, I have ever met. He has the ability to teach and convey theory in a very concise and organized manner. His blueprint process helps you become a better player.
My son looks forward to working with Tracey each week. He started lessons because I and his music teacher thought he had a great voice, but my son was reluctant at first. Tracey helped him find what he enjoyed about singing and she was able to used his naturally goofy personality to pick out the perfect music for him. Now he loves voice lessons and is frequently cast in community and school productions. I couldn't be more happy with his progress!
Sandra is such a knowledgeable, kind, and talented voice teacher. Her lessons are very personalized which shows she pays attention to her students and can tell what works for them. Her lessons are fun and in the year I have worked with her my voice has improved tremendously. She pushes you and truly wants you to succeed. Definitely one of the best vocal teachers I have worked with.
The teachers are awesome, very amiable! The kids loved taking their guitar lessons! I definitely recommend Simply Suite Music.
I'm very thankful to Zarui Vardanean for those years of vocal lessons and I'm very proud that I had her as coach. During the period of training with Zarui I've learned and improved singing abilities so much and I have grown as an artist. I highly recommend Zarui Vardanean for those who wants a great vocal performance training. She is the best!
I took lessons through Mclain's mind of music for one reason; to learn how to play "Green Hill Zone" on Piano. Thanks to Kevin, I can say that I accomplished that goal (granted, 2 years after he left but you get the idea.) Because Kevin was my teacher, I've moved on to learning a couple other songs as well (although I could always practice more than I do.) When Kevin was giving lessons in Chicagoland he was the most affordable piano lessons, regardless of if it was hourly or half-hour (short of having a piano whiz for a grandparent who would teach you for free, which I do not.) Improve, I guess a couple times he was 5 or 10 minutes late for the appointment, but that's only because he would DRIVE OUT to the kid's house and be stuck in traffic on the way back (which is totally understandable, considering what an excellent musician Kevin is.) If you take one lesson, you'll feel the same. Young or Old, Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced Kevin can teach you how to play.
First impression has been great! Still in beginning phase of lesson plans .
I have been teaching for several years and have experience working with a variety of students from a 5 year old beginner to students going to College for music. I also have taught students of varying ages, from the young child to an older first time piano player. Having such a wide range of students has given me the ability to approach the piano from multiple perspectives making my teaching and understanding of the instrument that much better.
Me. M is patient, kind, and gentle with my son. He corrects him without ever using negatives. He is a wonderful teacher!
