Latest Review: Andrew got me through some nagging weight loss plateaus and walls when we first started, I had lost over 35 pounds on my own and I was getting frustrated at the constant walls. I signed up for a consultation with him after, and than I quickly signed up for a set of sessions. I'm reasonably sure I've been signed with him for over a year and a half now, and I am very pleased with the progress I get. I had a lot of difficulty even approaching the free-weight section of the gym before him due to insecurities and lack of knowledge of how best to use the weights - having a personal trainer to show me what to do in that area honestly opened a new world for me there. Since then, I feel ten times more comfortable in the gym and knowledgeable about how to use the machines and the free weights to my advantage. He's very personable and while he's obviously not doing this for free, I do feel like he cares enough about what he does to value me as person moreso than just a dollar sign. He asks questions about my diet and routine and how my progress is going, and just does seem to care that you're getting the results you want versus just locking you in a contract and counting the minutes 'till the next session. He keeps everything fresh each routine - we rarely do the same thing twice. Better yet, I find myself incorporating the things we do outside of sessions during my own gym time. He pushes me and I've been able to do things during our sessions (3 sets of 30 second push-ups in a super set for example) that I never thought I'd be able to do before. He knows that I want to be pushed and kicks my ass (although I'm certain that this cannot be the same mindset for his other clients - I've made it clear that I want to get stronger and progress and he has paid attention). If anything could've been better, it was that when I first signed up, he essentially had me at square one when I had made progress on my own pretty well. It was a bit frustrating to begin with, doing lighter things, but once he got a firm grasp on what I was capable of doing, he kept the progression natural and now has and is continuing to up the intensity of workouts. There were also a couple times early on when I felt he may have been making this up as he went along, but I chalk those up to still getting a feel for my strength and fitness level. I won't sign up with anyone else. If a cheaper alternative comes by, I won't sign up with them. He's affordable and knows my strength level and where I'm at, and I feel like anyone that's seriously committed to losing weight and getting fit could benefit from signing with him.

Latest Review: Those of you who know me well, know my story. I was large, I ate junk, and I hated each morning I woke up feeling like crap. So 7 years ago I decided to take control. I reached my weight loss goal, but I am still a work in progress. November 2011 I started working out with Bob. I try to keep active every day. This combination has taken me to a level I never imagined. Bob helps me focus on the positive. He challenges both my body and mind to get stronger. I do love working out and I do love feeling so much better each day. I have to say that without my trainer, Bob, I know I would not have reached this fitness level. I tell him all the time how magical I think he is. I don’t know if he fully understands how grateful I am to workout with him. He has to deal with my wimpy days, my whiney days, my craziness, and my emotional highs and lows. He always motivates me to keep pushing on. That is not an easy job and I will forever be thankful for having met him. So I hope for those of you who struggle and want change, that I inspire you to just do it, one day at a time.

Latest Review: My husband and I recently moved to Crown Point and decided to forego a gym membership to workout at home. Workouts were mundane and not too productive so we decided to search for a personal trainer. We came across Ben's website and decided to give him a try. After meeting with him to discuss our ages (51 and 48), past injuries, and fitness goals, we began training in February. We train with Ben at our home 2 days a week, and he leaves a 3rd workout for us to do on our own. We have been impressed with Ben's knowledge, attention to detail, work ethic, and the creativity of his workouts. We look forward to the sessions which are challenging and well thought out. Ben teaches proper technique, adapts the exercises to help with past injuries, and monitors our form during each set. We have worked out at gyms for many years with varying results, but Ben has taught us a much more effective way to train. With Ben's help, we reached our initial fitness goals and continue to improve our strength, fitness, and energy levels. Most importantly, the positive experience and solid results have motivated us to stay committed to health and fitness. Thanks Ben!!

Latest Review: Danielle is an amazing trainer! She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and how to work out effectively. She gets results!! She has taught me about protein, when, how much and most importantly, why! She has pushed me to work out harder and to do things I've never imagined I could do AND I can see the results!! And for me, she's not bossy nor is she mean lol! She's patient and encouraging. I can honestly say she's changed me and the way I look at fitness!

Latest Review: Love working with my future trainer. She's excellent at scheduling workouts around my busy life, and the variety I get is far beyond what I was able to do on my own. This is really a great program if you want the accountability of a real person plus the convenience of being able to do workouts wherever. I can do workouts when traveling, at home, at the gym. They also customize the workout to the gear I have available, which makes it super easy. It's also great having an app to reach out to my trainer, rather than waiting for my weekly training session to ask questions. Megan's very punctual with responses, and very understanding with all my concerns. Overall this is an excellent service. Much recommended.
