Friendly, diligent worker. Problem resolved.
My job entailed multi levels of cleaning and moving. A 2 1/2 car garage with partial lofts all around. Stuffed full and for years. Goal was to gut entire inside of garage, clean and replace what I was keeping while making piles outside of yard sell, metal, wood then tarp before it would storm. The day this was done it was 93 with humidity. After 6 hours of none stop labor it was unbelievably done! Done as I had asked even though I didn't ask for it to be done in such short time the tenasity they showed to work until it was done was above and beyond any expectation. We have talked about other phases of this same type of clean and move service for my house. Yes, I will/would hire them again and refer them to others.
I hired Jeff to install a kitchen faucet. The faucet was provided and I only needed labor. He showed up when promised and did what I needed. Very reasonable and easy to work with. Thanks!
Matt was very professional and came out right away even though today is the Labor Day holiday. He did not charge extra for the holiday call out and his prices were very reasonable that were below the franchise plumbing company's prices. I sent him pictures of the issue and he gave me at a flat rate for the job that he quoted by the pictures I put on Thumbtack before even coming out. I highly recommend Matt to anyone needing a plumbing job done ASAP at a fair price. I will be using him again for any future plumbing issues that may arise.
Difficult to give a very positive nor a very negative review of James' work. He repaired my 2-storey chimney with stucco, by installing a wire mesh around the existing (bad) brick and applying stucco around the entire chimney. James promised to have a smooth finish, nice looking, non-leaking chimney when all was done. At time of this writing, my chimney's finish is not smooth, and it looks OK. Whether or not it leaks we will see, but it appears to be well sealed. A few details: 1. The project was started more or less on time, but the project took 3-4 weeks longer - and - quality was below what he'd promised. 2. In general, James was responsive via text, pleasant to work with, and my expectations of the quality of his work were high based on our communication. However, he seemed to promise dates/quality that ultimately were not delivered. Perhaps he could scale down on the promised delivery so as to manage customer expectations as well as provide a realistic picture of the finished product. 3. I was not satisfied with the quality of the 'finished' product and communicated this to James. Post-payment, James honored one of his promises to come back out to try to 'fix' any issues outstanding. At time of this writing, there is still one outstanding 'offer' from James to come back and finish smoothing out the surface, but I have not heard from him in weeks. This makes it difficult to trust that the company will stand by the 7-year labor warranty that is in the contract.
Our front porch looks amazing! Ron and I discussed the options available and he was great about advising on pros & cons of the different choices. The screening material I chose was back ordered, and it delayed the job until we were on vacation. We returned home to a beautifully done porch. The trim looks great and we are enjoying the fruits of Ron's labor! I would recommend him if you need a similar job done.
Michael Day showed up on time and estimated the labor to install my ceramic tile in kitchen, bath and foyer. His price was competitive, and he started and finished the work in a few days, as promised. His workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Michael Day to any landlord or investor like myself, or any homeowner in need of a tile layer.
The work he did was excellent! I think there was a communication error between Mike and me. (Major understatement!) He hasn't responded to me reaching out to him over text. Unfortunately, he left the job about 1/3 of the way done. Mike covered the floors when he painted and cleaned up very well after he was done. I would recommend him to anyone needing paint. Just make sure you both are on the same page. He and his helper had a really tough time with the specific color of the cheap-o paint from Lowe's. Given the bad paint, he made it look extraordinary! I think he used the cheapest paint he could get because he included the paint cost in his quote to paint our whole house. I was under the impression that I was paying for the paint in addition to labor and drywall. He ran into a problem called "hat banding" where the parts that were painted with a brush look completely different than the parts painted with a roller. After trying everything to fix the problem (YES! Including not letting the brushed paint dry before painting with the roller) and spending over 2 weeks on just the basement, it was obvious that the problem was the paint. We have a 3 story house and he quoted to paint the whole thing. Since I thought we were paying for the paint, I asked him to get a better quality paint for the rest of the house so he wouldn't have the same problems and he could finish faster. He got quite angry. Looking back, it makes since because he thought he had to bare the extra expense. It was the next day that he sent me a very professional text saying he quit. I would include his text but I had to reset my phone and deleted it. I wish we would been on the same page about the paint cost. He would have finished the house so much faster. The painters we ended up hiring weren't nearly as good as Mike and took forever to finish. They got paint splatters everywhere and blamed it on Mike. Like I said Mike was in the basement and these other guys painted the other 2 levels. The paint splatters weren't in the basement, they were on the other 2 levels. Thanks for the work you did, Mike. I wish it would have turned out different. I wish you all the best.
Working with Steve was an incredible experience. We had several estimates before he came out. Based on those experiences we were reconsidering if we could afford the project. When we showed Steve the materials we had selected, he asked questions about what we wanted and made several suggestions for our considerations. After he took the measurements and provided us an estimate on the labor cost, he made a call to the tile supplier he works with and got prices and availability of what we has selected. He then provided us with the total costs of the project. He was extremely accommodating in working with the schedules of our painter and the counter top installation. His talents resulted in marvelous results.
Job completed well overall. Left a bit of water and sediment on the basement floor and the labor was a bit higher than the quote.
Mr. Disinger took care of an ice dam on my roof which was causing water from snow and rain in winter to flow back and cause wetness in an upstairs bedroom (carpet near baseboard) and water in my garage. He also painted a small section of the wood near this area and cleaned my gutters. It took him about 6 hours to complete the job. He came to my house to take a look and to give me an estimate for the job the very day I first contacted him. Luckily for me, he was in the area. I like the way the materials and resources needed for the work and the labor were priced before the actual estimate was given. He kept in touch with me as the estimate was being figured, and that took a few days because he wanted to make sure he was getting the best price for the supplies. Everything Mr, Disinger used for the job was high quality material. Mr. Disinger was prompt and even gave me a call one time when he could be at my home earlier than expected. He snapped before and after photos and showed them to me after the job was completed. Everything looks great, and I am not expecting anymore ice dams. The rain will flow more freely from gutters, too. I have no complaints, and nothing could have improved my experience with Mr. Disinger. I highly recommend him for any job you need done around your house!
Todd and his crew did a great job on our fence and patio build last year. VERY REASOBABLE PRICES. They showed up on time, were hard workers, and very respectful. We were also lucky to hire Todd for other handy man services around the house and install a water heater and an exterior door for us. I would highly recommend Todd for quality work.
Wonderful work. Very professional and polite. Definitely recommended.

Jeremy Macklin obtained employment with Chapel Mapping, a GPS data collection company that I was also employed with. I had a major hand in training Jeremy and knew right away that he was a hard working self motivated get the job done the right way the first time kind of guy. As Chapel Mapping was a quota based position we always had to reach up high to get our incentive checks and Jeremy was never a disappointment. I myself took pride in being able to surpass the quota goal everyday by Lewis and bounds and it only took me showing Jeremy how to do the job for him to become real (friendly) competition for me. We always used to spur each other on by claiming we each had more points collected than the other and our employers really appreciated our consistent motivation that spearheaded the entire project. If you were to ask Chapel Mapping they would tell you that I was one of their best collectors nation wide and I would put stake in Jeremy having the same reputation right up there with me. If you want a person that's not only a hard worker but competent, organized, motivated, friendly and willing to go above and beyond than Jeremy Macklin is the person for you. I would work with Jeremy any day at any job and know I had a teammate that is as reliable as anyone. With Jeremy Macklin you can't go wrong.
