- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Blended Learning Courses - Individual Pricing: $40/student - Skills Session (any format, Heartsaver or BLS) **Blended Learning Courses require completion of Part 1 online on the AHA's website which is an additional cost payable to the AHA. Classroom style courses for groups or organizations: Contact us with details so we can deliver you a proper quote!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Individual Scheduling: The most readily available training is the blended learning route. In blended learning there are three parts; learning, practicing, and skills testing. For part 1 the student purchases and completes the modules on the American Heart Association's website specific to the certification they are going for. Part 2 and 3 (collectively known as a skills session) are then scheduled with me on my website. Skills sessions are typically 1-on-1 and last as long as needed for the student to feel comfortable. Skills sessions are a flat rate no matter which CPR certification you are attempting to get. Skills sessions may be conducted in the student's home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Interventional Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)(ARRT)] and formerly worked as an Emergency Medical Technician [EMT]. I've worked at and taught CPR classes for Indy area hospitals, private ambulance services, and to daycares, dental offices, and individuals on my own since 2015.
