I give private music lesson. I teach voice, piano and guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons are usually a half hour long once a week.

David teaches on the northwest side of Indianapolis at Zionsville Presbyterian Church (corner of 116th and Michigan). Lessons are available from Monday to Friday during the day and evening.

I am a third year student studying at the University of Cincinnati: College-Conservatory of Music. I couldn't be more thankful for the time in which I had my lessons with David. Truly, if it weren't for his help, I wouldn't be in music school today.
David is not only incredibly talented, but is also an incredibly versatile and personal individual. One of the best things about David is that he always goes the extra mile. He won't stop at simply training your voice; he will tackle your fears! If you're afraid of singing or playing in front of people, he's going to find a stage to put you on.
He could have stuck with just performing, but to put it simply, David is the type that can't resist sharing his knowledge with others. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking lessons in the Indianapolis area. 5/5

Very uplifting. Mr. Ackerman us positive and encouraging. Not afraid to tell you how you can improve, but not a "Negative Nelly", either. For me, having him sing my voice part is the most helpful.
