We booked him for a bday party and he was definitely worth it!!! There was kids from age 4-8 and it was non-stop laughter. He appealed to everyone, the kids AND the adults. His sense of humor is great! He makes sure all the kids are involved, is great at handling some of the rowdier kids and is very entertaining. He makes balloon animals for everyone, does magic. Awesome show!! I will definitely recommend to any and everyone i know. Thanks Frank

Morning Mist is the first barn to make me feel like I am genuinely accepted and involved. Nancy is by far the best trainer I have worked with. She not only tells you how to but shows and explains how to. When she is asked a question she doesn't make you feel like you are small. She takes everything as a lesson. I am so glad to have found a trainer and a barn that I can call family. I am so blessed. I am welcomed to come to the barn and feed the horses and learn hands on how to tend to a barn and herd as if it's my own. Nancy teaches balance seat first and has shown me that you can be one with the horse and feel the movements and the bond. As I was a hunter jumper previous I am used to one frame of posture and intensity but she has taught me how to feel the horse and be a rider not a passenger. I could go on and on about the amazing lessons I have been taught and look forward to more to come! Thanks Nancy😃

What a great show. I hired them for our Cub Scout Pack, so we had a very large group. The boys loved it and it was tailored to learn about conservation and pollution as well about the amazing animals that were brought. Loved hearing how these animals were rescued as well. Great program, very professional and easy to work with on scheduling, billing, etc. Highly recommend!

I have been riding a Merkel Farm for about eight years. I have been a camper at their summer camp and am now boarding my first horse there. I have known the owner Stephanie Merkel for quite some time now and she is a wonderful person and instructor. She is very passionate about her work with her horses. As an instructor, she is patient, understanding, kind, and really does care about her students and wanting them to be the best they can be. The facilities are great with an indoor riding arena and an outdoor riding arena. The lesson horse are the best part, they are kind and willing for their riders. I have really come a long way with Merkel Farm and I just love it so much there. It really is my home away from home.

I've only trusted one person to care for my dog EVER! So being faced with the fact that I moved far away from that person and was in need of a midday walk or two was a bit of an issue. Finding a dog walker in Middleburg proved to be an impossible task, until I found Carmen. I couldn't have been more lucky to find her. She was there for me and my pup during all of our times of need. She's exactly who you would want and more to take care of your pets. She's trustworthy, friendly and all around a wonderful person! I got updates every time my dog was walked which was helpful for my peace of mind during a long work day. Seeing how happy my pup was when I met her was such a relief. I am beyond thankful that she was willing to service my area on top of being exactly the person I wanted to come to my home and care for my pet. I absolutely recommend her to anyone as she is definitely an animal lover and takes pride in caring for our little loved ones !!

How much does it cost to rent a petting zoo?

A traveling petting zoo, complete with goats, chickens, rabbits, potbellied pigs, and even an alpaca, can be a thrilling experience for young children at a birthday party or other event. Many petting zoos offer mobile party packages. Renting a petting zoo costs an average of $400-$500 for a two-hour party, depending on the number of animals; in general, traveling petting zoos bring between 10 and 25 animals. The costs vary greatly if you extend the party or add additional activities. For instance, many petting zoo rental farms offer pony rides for an average of $60-$74 per hour, face painting or glitter tattoos for an average of $70-$75 per hour (or $150-$190 per event), or a picture frame craft project for an average of $10 per child. Although farm animals are the standard for a petting zoo, some farms offer alternative animals. For example, a reptile petting zoo may cost an average of $300 per hour. You may also be charged travel and setup fees, depending your distance from the farm and the surface where the petting zoo will be set up. Expect to pay an average of $1.25 per mile for travel for the petting zoo. A hay setup for a petting zoo costs an average of an additional $25 or more.
