I love working with Cornelius. We meet twice a week and July will be my 3rd month of having him help me with fitness and strength training. There are many reasons why I would recommend him. Here are a few. I am 45 year old woman, 5.5 in height and weigh 230lbs. I was a strong swimmer when I was younger, but have never spent much time in gyms. I would describe myself as having little to no awareness of myself as someone who can train. But I did know that I needed and wanted to get into much better shape. I was also excited about developing better balance, a stronger core, and even new skills like boxing. When I met Cornelius he asked me detailed questions about why I was there and began to develop a program around my strengths, goals and limitations, which included a lower back injury and tendinitis in my left elbow. Every time we meet he asks briefly on how I am doing, and I know he is thinking through the workout to take me to the limit of my capabilities while still ensuring that it is enjoyable. I always have a great time and am tired but invigorated when I leave. This has altered how I view exercise and feel about myself. The gym where we train is tiny but has taught me important things about how less is more, and that you can do a lot with what's around you. This has been a huge help in keeping on training when traveling as you don't need to find a gym but can do many things to build strength and keep in shape where you are. Finally, I feel safe and respected working with Cornelius in the little gym and know that we are on a steady positive path to making real and lasting improvements to my health and wellbeing. I can't think of a better investment to make than that.
I discovered Jenise through thumbtack and by reading reviews about her. I had been seeking for a personal trainer. After my initial consultation, I knew that she was the trainer for me. To give an overview of my fitness level: I am 26. I am a non-athlete. Actually, I’m pretty uncoordinated and clumsy and have never regularly exercised before. I love yoga but I also never got into doing it regularly enough. Its rare to get the motivation for me to get up and go to the gym which is why I chose to seek a personal trainer that can come to me and give me an individualized service. When I contacted Jenise, she offered for a consultation and to see my goals and ultimately see if my schedule will fit in with hers. I should have worn appropriate clothing at that time to do a fitness assessment… nevertheless, after booking she came to me for the assessment, measurements, and weigh-in. We completed 12 sessions in a 1 month period. Just like learning a new skill or a language or an insurance for a healthier life in the future— every penny is worth it. If I could afford it, I would for sure continue working out with Jenise 3 times a week all my life!! But this has been a really great stepping stone to a STRONGER me. The workouts as other reviews mention are different each time although during every session you focus on different parts of the body. Usually you do one session focusing on lower body, one on upper body and one focusing on the core. She makes sure that your workout is high-intensity and always adds new moves or gadgets to the workouts to make it fun. Boxing, resistance training outside in the neighborhood, when the weather is nice, were some of the highlights for me. Even though, I liked the convenience of her coming to me.. I also liked going to her location at the end of the week to top off my workout and get the MOST out of my weekly workouts. Her gym has all the equipment needed to kick butt. She really understands the anatomy and where your weaknesses lie as a unique individual. She builds your workouts according to these and changes the number of repetitions or the amount of weight as necessary during the workout. She watches you closely on your form and ensures you get the most out of every exercise. I personally never liked working out because I never knew how to. I knew I had terrible form and didn’t know how to fix it. Jenise became a teacher to me and showed me how to properly lift. She also always reminded me to breathe when I exerted energy (I tend to hold my breath when I lift .. its no bueno!) Now I see that I have made progress and I have learned proper form, I am keen to continue with it. My 12 sessions came to an end last week. I would 100% renew more sessions with Jenise if it weren’t for my mother looking to join a gym with me. Right now, my finances and time aren’t allowing me to afford both, but I know for certain Jenise and I will be training again in the future. I can tell she has made a STRONGER me and I don’t want to lose any of what I have worked for this past month! If you are hesitant, I get that. Truly. But give it a shot. Jenise is wonderful. Trust her, she knows exactly what you need. I'm so glad I trusted her on this journey. I highly recommend CW3 to everyone!

Working with Rafael is great. Such a good trainer! He’s a very talented boxer, and he knows how to get you in shape fast! I was worried about the price at first, but their prices are actually the same as the Title boxing personal training costs. If they can meet me at my place when I have time, I don’t mind the rates.
Soup is an incredible trainer. I am NOT a morning person, but he made me excited to get out of bed at 5:30 AM and go train with him. Soup is easily the most motivating person I've ever worked with. He catered my workouts to my specific needs and goals, and pushed me to go harder everyday. He is also very creative and keeps the workouts different every time so it doesn't get boring. For example, I told him one day that I randomly had boxing wraps in my car, and then the next time we trained we boxed! I really appreciate that he likes to switch it up in the gym and keep it fun -- no two workouts will be the same. Even on days that we weren't training together, he would still check in with me and make sure that I was cardio and eating properly. He keeps it real and holds you accountable by checking in every single day. Working with Soup was truly a pleasure and I cannot wait to start working with him again. I highly recommend him to anyone at any fitness level -- Soup will change your life!
WORKING WITH BRANDON HAS BEEN MY BEST PERSONAL TRAINING EXPERIENCE: HE'S FRIENDLY, ACCOMMODATING, INNOVATIVE, AND MOTIVATING. I'VE HAD TRAINERS AT MULTIPLE GYMS AND LARGELY BECAME DISENFRANCHISED BY THE PROCESS BECAUSE EVERYBODY SEEMED TO USE ONE OF TWO MODELS: WORK ME UNTIL I DIE, OR COPY P90X. I CAN, AND HAVE, DONE BOTH ON MY OWN. THIS WAS NOT MY EXPERIENCE WITH BRANDON. FIRST OFF, HE ACTUALLY LISTENED WHEN I EXPLAINED TO HIM MY GOALS AND DESIRE TO DO DIFFERENT TYPES OF EXERCISES. FROM DAY 1 WE USED A COMBINATION OF WEIGHTS, RESISTANCE BANDS (WHICH I'VE NEVER DONE WITH ANOTHER TRAINER), PLYOMETRICS, COMBINATIONS, AND EVEN BOXING (YES, I SAID BOXING - ANOTHER FIRST). EVERY WEEK I COULD TELL HE PREPARED THE WORKOUTS SPECIFICALLY TO HIT CERTAIN MUSCLE GROUPS, IN A CERTAIN ORDER, AND IN DIFFERENT WAYS. HE WAS ALWAYS PREPARED AND NEVER JUST WINGING IT AS WE WENT ALONG. HE EVEN INITIATED A SATURDAY SESSION TO MIX UP OUR ROUTINE WITH SOME CITY RUNNING AND INTERSPERSED EXERCISES - IT WAS A GREAT IDEA FOR DOING SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND STILL GETTING A GREAT WORKOUT. BRANDON ALSO MET ME AT MY HOME AND WAS EARLY FOR EACH SESSION. WE USED THE FULL AMOUNT OF TIME FOR TRAINING, NOT CUTTING IT SHORT TO RUN OFF TO ANOTHER CLIENT ON THE TOP-OF-THE-HOUR. I FELT LIKE MY TRAINING TIME WAS MINE AND BRANDON WAS 100% THERE. I HAD TO CHANGE OUR SCHEDULED MEETING TIME AND EVEN RESCHEDULE SEVERAL SESSIONS AFTER THAT, BUT BRANDON WAS VERY FLEXIBLE AND KIND ABOUT IT. I HAD EVEN INJURED MY KNEE (HELPING SOMEONE MOVE) AND BRANDON STAYED IN TOUCH BY OFFERING ME TIPS ON HOW TO CARE FOR IT AS WELL AS SIMPLY CHECKING IN TO SEE HOW I WAS DOING. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT BRANDON IS DEDICATED AND YOU CAN SEE THIS EASILY IN HOW HE TREATS YOU, YOUR TIME TOGETHER, AND YOUR WORKOUT.
I have been working with Anthony for a couple weeks now and have really enjoyed it. He is great for all levels. Every class I get a mix of circuits, cardio, kickboxing, wrestling, etc. Each class is exciting because it's never the same. When I first met Dimitri over a year ago, I had a long way to go on my fitness journey and was a little bit intimidated about starting a training program. During our first training session I nearly passed out because I was out of shape, and I wasn’t fueling my body the way I needed. Right away Dimitri made me feel reassured that I could, and would, get stronger and better if I put in the work. He took the time to help me set my goals, discuss my likes/dislikes, and from there, created a custom plan for me to reach my goals. The program he designed relies on high-intensity intervals, coupled with strength training and kickboxing. I had never tried kickboxing before, but now it has become my favorite part of our sessions! A few months into our training I injured my ankle and thought I would need to put training on pause. Because of Dimitri’s expert knowledge of kinesiology and his extreme attention to avoiding further injury, I was able to continue on a modified program and make steady progress towards my goals. Not only is Dimitri incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, but also he is encouraging and supportive during every step of the way. He pushes me harder than I ever knew I could push myself, and thanks to him, I have been successful in my fitness journey and boosting my confidence. With his help, I’ve lost over 25 lbs, gained lean muscle and drastically improved my strength and flexibility!

Tiffany also provides advice on nutrition and diet, which I appreciate. She was more expensive than some of the other trainers I interviewed, but she's been worth every penny to me so far!

In February, I started working with Ken three times a week. He put together different workouts that worked on areas to target my mobility and strength. While at first, my goal was to get through the workout without having to stop, Ken now uses his creativity to make the progression moves harder, work every possible muscle, and get closer to my goals. Every day is different- in addition to circuit training, we have incorporated boxing, higher weights, and agility and footwork. I am still sore after each workout- that good sore, where you know you have put in work. When we reassessed after 5 weeks, I had gained 2 pounds of lean muscle, lost pounds of fat, and lost almost 7 percentage points of body fat. I have now upped to 4 times a week and absolutely look forward to my sessions every single time. I do my part- I show up and work hard, but I 110% attribute my results and gains, no matter the size, to Ken. Obviously the workouts show his knowledge of training, but more than that, they show his passion. Even if he writes in a move, he will often change it on the fly to make it more fun or utilize the equipment we have on hand to make it a total full body move. I sometimes have even heard other trainers say "I wish I had thought of that- I am going to use that move!" Having a trainer is investing in a relationship- and you need someone who invests back. I know that he genuinely wants to see me succeed- and nothing is cooler seeing him jump with excitement when I was able to do not 1- but 5 full pushups- at the end of the workout. His positive attitude and passion is contagious, and when you combine that with his knowledge of fitness and training- you really can't ask for more.
