Mr Burnham was very accommodating and most importantly efficient with his use of time. He was friendly without being overly chatty and he readily and easily answered all my questions; he got right to work when he arrived. He had the right knowledge of how to connect my office network, computers and printers and he completed the work in his one visit. Good effective and efficient service at an affordable price; it is very likely that I will be using Skyecast for my future computer/network needs.
I highly recommend Tuck's services and all staff members within their organization. ICA went through its first facility move in 25 years and Tuck Technologies handled all the wiring and A/V needs. They coordinated directly with our general contractor and building. Additionally, they worked under a very tight timeline. We are a school that operates six days a week and were not able to have any downtime. We have 54 classrooms each with computers, administrative offices, a movie theater, and a/v displays for student information and break areas. We are in nearly 18,000 sq ft. of space. Tuck was responsible for pulling permits, providing plans, installation, and trouble shooting. I can say that they were 100% responsive even working with our company through the night and weekends to make sure that we were up and running on-time for classes to start. We have had no issues with the cabling and have asked them to come back and do other unplanned work as well. Everything was completed on time even with additional work added last minute to mount and install all classroom computers. All items came in on budget and Jacob was very transparent regarding costs. Any minor issues on the project had more to do with delays that were out of their control in terms of dealing with Arlington County. In fact, we had to change our move in date three times and each time Tuck Technologies was on board with no issues or complaints. They were flexible without question. Jacob and his team went above and beyond for ICA working as our partners. I can honestly say I felt they cared as much about our project (or more!) as ICA did. I was so accustomed to having his staff around, I almost began to think of them as my own. They were respectful, friendly, and had a good sense of humor regarding our changes yet always took our issues seriously. Jacob gave me his personal attention on the project and made me feel as if my project was his only and highest priority. We definitely felt like a premier client and yet were probably one of the smaller jobs they have had. During this time Jacob became a father for the first time and still took my calls! I thought he really went above and beyond.
Before I met Marcus Reed I had been caught in cell phone hell. Phone after phone,all Samsung Galaxy, I purchased had to be returned for one reason or another. My fourth purchase was a Blu Life View. They're a lot cheaper than a Galaxy and for good reason. They aren't any good. But then I gave that same phone to Marcus Reed. He turned a phone that was another disastrous purchase to one of the best phones I've ever had. With every rooted bell and whistle you can think of. At one point I called his work number and 10 pm. to ask a question about the phone. Thinking I'm just going to leave a message. Not only did he pick up but he solved my problem in a matter of seconds. I'm almost 60, which means I've been around long enough to know that it is hard to find a company as dedicated to their customers as IQ Computer Services. Not only do I recommend them, I've decided to stop buying 700 dollar phones that are obsolete a year later. A better idea is to purchase a "Like New" phone from Marcus Reed at IQ and save the five hundred you have left over for something else. And "no" I'm not related to the guy. I could not access my primary 2TB HDD that contained a lot of important data and digital images. The drive worked fine the night before but when I booted up my computer the following morning, there was no trace of it on the computer. After a couple of hours of posting questions in various forums and not making any headway, I realized I needed to bring in the big guns--meaning someone who knew their way around a dead hard drive. Everyone knows how hard it is to find a good mechanic or a good dentist..and now you can add on a good computer tech. When it comes to something you have absolutely no knowledge about, it's hard to find someone you can trust. And that's where George enters. George, in short, is awesome. From my initial request for a quote to the moment the laptop was back in my hands. George was patient, helpful and honest. He responded to all my emails and phone messages right away, even my semi-neurotic email confirming he has my laptop. George walked me through everything he was doing to my computer, even giving me advice on how to better avoid viruses in the future. Even before I got my laptop back, I just KNEW it was going to come back fixed and as good as new. When he turned it on and I saw how fast it was running, I couldn't believe it. Seriously, my laptop is running 5x faster now. It was so bogged down with viruses, spyware, countless programs...I mean, I had everything you could possibly have on there. George cleaned it all up, installed a new antivirus and basically brought my computer back to life. As he told me later, he "treated my laptop like it was his baby." I could go on about how satisfied I was with George's services, but I'll just leave it at this - I was SO happy with his work that I felt compelled to tip him 50% of the quote. There was no doubt in my mind that any other place would have charged me a helluva lot more. But the fact that he was so upfront with everything and honored the quote, I just HAD to pay him more. I hope I don't need a tech again, but if I do, I know exactly who to call.
