Rock is a Consummate Professional. I've had him Story Tell for Our Sunday School Class on several occasions. He presented a Holocaust Exhibit at Several Locations which were all Well Received. I had extensive Dealings with him while a Member of Fathers United for Equal Rights of Maryland. Moreover, I consider him a close and valuable Friend.

Barbara El Wilson is a dynamic and compelling story teller. She has worked with Friendship Public Charter Schools for two years bring stories to life for our PK - 1st grade scholars. Scholars leave inquisitive about the adventures she has taken them on and teachers are able to transfer that learning to the classroom! Barbara is also the owner of SugarFoot dolls. The dolls are representative of several ethnicities and great additions to our early childhood dramatic play centers. I highly recommend Barbara for any school that is looking for a literacy rich and affordable engaging learning experience for their scholars! Storytelling for Folk

About

I tell story to children ages 1-100. I will perform telling stories using a theme or as part of an event with small groups (like party) and large audiences (festivals, schools and centers). I also lead workshops for children or adults on storytelling skills or public speaking (for entertainment) and incorporating storytelling with their curriculum/goals. I have craft-like talents to add activities to an event I am working. I will make exceptions and read from a book on request. I wear storytelling garb or costume as appropriate to the event. I charge by the event components (not by the hour). I was a teller at folk festivals in the 1980s and '90s known as Diane Temple.

I had heard Gary Lloyd before a few years ago. He was great and memorable. We have a well vetted and known speaking club and I wanted to get Gary to present to us. We had over 80 people and they loved his storytelling. Gary kept to a time of 30 minutes we had allocated. He left them wanting more. He was so good and engaging. They had lots of questions and the feedback was a total success. There was not even a 'luke' warm response. He was a winner for all! Thanks Gary!
