Top Rated Swimming Pool Cleaners Around Ashburn, VA
Great job cleaning the pool to get it ready for the new season! It really needed your tlc.
Thomas did a wonderful job cleaning our pool. It was much appreciated as we had company coming to swim the next day.
Great service, extra effort to clean the pool, easy to work with.
Gehan and Chris have serviced our pool and spa for many years. They are extremely reliable, honest, get the job done, and charge reasonable prices. That combination is pretty rare in the pool business. If we have a problem that needs to be fixed right away they will be here immediately. They know what they are doing and make good reasonably priced recommendations. We've used them for a decade and I expect to continue for another decade.

Last uear, we had ASP open and close our pool as well as perform weekly pool service during the summer. There was no more guessing about the chemical balance- it was handled expertly by the ASP team. All of the technicians were polite, professional and very knowledgeable. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something. We also bought a new pool cover and didn't feel like we were gouged. And finallyou, our pool pumped had reached retirement age and Glen was able to recommend a high efficient and economical model with a rebate to boot! So happy to have ASP as our pool company....calling them tomorrow to schedule our opening!!!

I had been trying since the end of March to have VIP Pools come out to drain and acid wash our pool before fixing some loose tiles and other issues. To say that we received far less than a "VIP" treatment is an understatement. I was initially told when Paul first came out to give an estimate that our work would be commenced at the beginning of April. It literally took WEEKS to receive an accurate proposal from him. The first few proposals didn't reflect what he had mentioned during the estimate or the prices that he had quoted. By the time that we finally received and endorsed a more accurate proposal, he pushed back our work until the beginning of May, knowing from my repeated concerns that I have a big party mid May that I need the pool in pristine condition for. It's safe to say that this whole process has been a total nightmare. Paul had reassured me that work would be started on Friday, April 28th, and completed by May 1st. That didn't happen. No one even showed up on the 28th, despite me sending messages and asking where they were. Paul told me that I shouldn't worry, they'd be out the next day, and everything would still be done on time. No one even showed up until 7 PM(!!!) on Saturday, April 29th, to remove our pool cover and begin draining the pool. Then, mid day on Sunday, April 30th, they showed up to start power washing the pool. I was called over to the pool by Paul so that he could tell me that he thinks that our pool needs to be resurfaced and he will charge $10,000 to do the work!!!! I DON'T THINK SO. By this point, I was already frustrated and very unhappy with the way that they were conducting business. They fiddled around in the pool for awhile then left, saying they'd be back the next day to finish fixing the tiles and the rest of the work. They were briefly over on Monday, May 1st, to put up some tiles. I had extra tiles already to replace our fallen/loose tiles. They put some of them up and then stopped, insisting that our tiles weren't good enough. They said that they had some of the same tiles and would bring them to finish the next day and would charge us $9 per sheet of tiles. This was ridiculous, but someone else agreed to them without telling me. The next thing I hear is that Paul is complaining that the work is taking longer than expected because pollen and what I guess is ragweed keep flying into the pool. How am I supposed to control the weather? It's allergy season. I have no control over that. It's not as though they were cleaning it out of the pool. This was just another excuse for why the work was taking so long and demanding additional money beyond what was agreed. Before leaving, Paul demanded payment in full for the work that hadn't even been completed. On Tuesday, May 2nd, I received an email from Paul saying that he had to special order the tiles (the same ones I already HAVE, mind you) with 2-day shipping and would be back to install them when they arrived. It is now May 9th, and I have not seen or heard from Paul of anyone else at VIP Pools again. Needless to say, my pool is a mess and is nowhere near ready for the party. I feel like we were conned into bringing VIP Pools on to do the work on our pool when all they have tried to do this whole time is extort additional money from us when they still haven't even finished the work that we had contracted for them to do. Maybe they're good at opening and closing pools? I wouldn't know. If you're looking for someone to do more than that to your pool, do NOT use this company. The only "VIPs" in this situation have been them, not us, their clients. They are clearly too busy and important to give us the kind of service that we are paying for. (For the record, there are also already stains on the bottom of the pool that they acid washed. I also had to take it upon myself to clean up their mess and dispose of the large full trash bag that they left by the pool.)
