Professional knowledgeable and pleasant to have around the house. He cleans up and messes his repairs make. Trustworthy! We plan to use him often!Dec 15, 2018Verified
Evan hung a new pendant light for us and had to run wiring to the spot where it was going. He was prompt, professional and delightful to have around. I will definitely use him again and would recommend him !Dec 21, 2016Verified

I hired Evan to remove and replace some trim on the front of my house that had been neglected and developed dry rot. My goals were to get rid of all of the rotted material and increase curb appeal while not breaking the bank. I wasn't sure how to proceed and Evan lead the project with confidence. We spotted opportunities as we went along which caused the project to expand. At every step, Evan gave me options to choose from and kept me aware of costs. He maintained a good humor while the rain and excessive heat (107 degrees on June 15th!) created hurdles. At the end of two weeks, I had exactly what I wanted. Fresh trim, including a custom fascia, fresh insulation and vapor seal behind fresh siding and a great paint job. He also trimmed the trees! The front of my house looks like new, and I am pretty sure that the work returned more in value than it cost me. I look forward to our next project. I would recommend Evan Ward to friends and family without a doubt.Jun 18, 2016Verified

- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Watever the question , be specific. Ask detailed questions about your specific project to make sure the professional is experienced enough to do what you have in mind. I get a lot of calls to come finish something someone else started and found themselves in over their heads so I can guarantee you it happens. Specific and detailed questions can help the professional be clear of your expectations and also help you weed out someone who may embellish their talents or flat out lie about their experience.
