FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This is integrated into our core structure as a company. We feel it is necessary to be a part of a continuing education program so that we have a leg up on the competition. We attend green industry trade shows that offer educational courses related to our field. At these shows we are able to test the latest products being offered in the marketplace so that we can decide what would be beneficial for our clients. Many times we will attend seminars and conferences offered by our vendors that provide us with knowledge of new products and installation techniques. This is a very important aspect of our company philosophy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We offer a plethora of different services for our clients. Commonly, we create master landscape plans that can be implemented all at once or phased out over time. These projects include plantings, patios, retaining walls, fire-pits, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, drainage, water features, and mulching.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
After bidding on numerous projects over the years, there are a few key points to consider when hiring a contractor. First, when reviewing proposals from different contractors make sure that you comparing apples to apples. In other words; plant material needs to be the same size, hardscape products need to be exactly the same, and the scope of work needs to be on the same level. A lot of contractors will not specify everything they are going to do on the job so it is important to ask questions and speak your mind. Make sure you are comfortable with the way a contractor relates with you. From the very first meeting you should feel at home with this person and they should be receptive to everything you are expressing.
