FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a fair and competitive rate for my services as a performing musician. Rates are dependent on the event, length of performance time, if I’m providing sound equipment, etc. Please feel free to message me with your event details and I’ll be happy to provide a quote! 😊
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am very easy to work with. I am open to opportunities of all types and will happily answer questions and find a way to ensure that the entertainment I provide for your event meets your every need, including the potential of special requests and the addition of other instruments.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I spent over a decade in private voice lessons as well as a year at MSU studying Vocal Performance. I’ve participated in nearly every genre of music out there - from singing the blues at Knuckleheads to being a soloist in my church gospel choir - I have developed so much diversity in my musical pursuits. I’m self taught on guitar, piano, and percussion, and I was selected to All State Jazz Band in high school on baritone saxophone (I was also the only girl in the band). Aside from technical training with music, I am an accomplished singer-songwriter in the Kansas City music scene, a Pitch Music Award Winner, who has headlined music festivals, attended SXSW, and opened for national touring acts such as The Spin Doctors.
