I'm currently working with James with vocal lessons. He is pretty awesome. I have only been to two lessons but have made big improvements! I definitely recommend him to anyone interested to me.
Dr. Hall is by far one of the best teachers and mentors I have ever had. Not only has he improved my singing exponentially in just a few lessons, but he has helped me with my personal life in planning for college and my career. I do not regret a cent.
I've been taking guitar lessons for a couple months now and I've grown exponentially as a guitarist. It's a nice and friendly environment, and they have teachers who actually know what they're doing. I would recommend KC Music to everyone looking to become a better musician.
Sarah is very good with the kids and tailors lessons to their needs and their interests. She is very creative and thorough in her teaching methods, so not only do they learn how to do it, but why. We have had lessons with other instructors before, and my kids have learned more (and enjoyed it more) in their time with her than they ever have before.
Both my daughter and I had the pleasure of taking voice lessons with Barbara. She has insightful advice and creative techniques.
Our daughter has been taking voice lessons from Michelle for two and a half years and has made great progress. Since she started with Michelle, she has earned a spot in a metro-wide honor choir and has landed roles in the school musical.
I had the opportunity to have voice lessons with Anya and it was absolutely great! She was flexible enough to work with me via Skype since we weren't located in the same state. Each week there was something new I learned about music and singing in general. Every time we tried something new Anya made sure I had full understanding of it and was very open to questions. I would definitely recommend Anya to anyone who is looking for vocal or music lessons. She's totally the best fit for the job! 😊
Bethany has been providing voice lessons to my 10-year-old daughter for a few weeks. She clearly knows what she is doing both musically and regarding working with children. She knows how to talk to my daughter and challenge her without overwhelming her with too much information all at once. I have been most impressed with her willingness to go above and beyond to meet my daughter's interests by looking for specific music for her that will meet her personal needs. We both love that she didn't just come in with her own plan and try to force my daughter to adapt to it. She has also been great because she is not trying to force my daughter to sing like a Disney princess which is good because my daughter is an alto, not a soprano! She is really helping her learn how to control and get the most out of her own voice. I cannot think of anything that I would change about our experience with Bethany.
I could not be happier with my sons teacher, Elizabeth Morton. She exhibits great patience and enjoyment while working with my son, who began learning the piano with her at age 5. She is very encouraging and sets up achievable weekly goals. I love the ability to have her come to our home and teach, as a working parent this makes life a little simpler. Elizabeth is a talented teacher, she takes the time to make learning fun.
Verity is a highly skilled vocal professional who focuses on solid technique and musicianship. She gives her students the opportunities they need to strive for their goals and succeed as classically trained vocalists. I highly recommended Verity from my own experience taking lessons from her. I was taught for four years in high school and competed in and won various vocal competitions. I also took lessons on and off through college. Through the years, I have taken many opportunities to sing at political events and church gatherings and take part in musical theater productions. I attribute my successes to my lessons with Verity. I find it amazing how much I improved over time through my lessons, and I still thoroughly enjoy singing when the opportunity arises.
Adrienne Collins was my voice teacher for my entire high school experience. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She encourages her students and gives them practical instruction. I not only became a better singer, but I also gained so much confidence throughout my four years of voice lessons with Adrienne. I was able to go to State music competitions and receive high ratings while also participating in recitals. With her help I was even able to receive a university choir scholarship. These experiences, along with Adrienne's instruction and constant encouragement, gave me the skills and confidence I needed to grow as a singer. I absolutely loved my time learning from Adrienne.

I help my students build their singing voices starting with the basic fundamentals of healthy technique. If you have ever taken dance, you will have heard your dance teacher tell you that you should take Ballet. The reason is because Ballet is where you learn the essentials of classic technique. When you have these skills, you will be able to dance well in all styles of dance. The same is true for singing. When you have acquired the essential skills of good classical vocal technique, you will be able to sing well in all styles of singing, including Country, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Pop.
Don't take my word for it, hear what students have to say! "Alex knows how to dissect a song, pull it into little pieces, and then reassemble it into something you hadn't even realized it could be" Hassan Nazari-Robati Lumière - âBeauty and the Beastâ National Tour "Alex was able to bring out a quality in my voice that I had never heard before! He knew where and how to help bring the best out of me!" Phillip Ramsey Regional New York Performer âI needed a specific song for a last minute audition. For 15 minutes before the audition Alex played it for me and offered some ideas and different choices I could make. Not only did it help me connect with the piece but it also helped me vocally. The following day I went to an audition and booked the job with just one fifteen minute session. I think what is most important to me, especially as a dancer, is that he provides a very comfortable environment where I'm not afraid to explore or try new things. He is also able to break it down into terms and ideas that are easy for me to understand and apply.â Erika Hebron Swing - National Tour of âWest Side Storyâ
I'm a trained singer specializing in gospel, R&B, musical theater, and classical vocalism. In my studio, I teach my students fundamental to advanced techniques in voice, music, and drama. By one-on-one weekly exposure to my training, I produce complete artists who can thrive in virtually any music genre.
Most voice teachers specialize in one or another type of singing. I specialize in the art of variety in singing - from opera to rock to metal and back.
I teach beginners of all ages the fundamentals of singing with good technique. Based on what the student wants to be most practiced in, I can teach proper ways to belt for musical theater and pop or how to sing classically. I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree in opera performance and music education.
I have been teaching voice lessons for over a decade. Students learn to control their instruments and use them in a variety of music styles.
Hello! Do you have a child who wants to learn how to sing, but you don't want to spend a fortune on private lessons? Are you looking for a fun introduction to music and singing yourself? We might be a perfect fit! I have been taking voice lessons for the past 8 years studying under many different teachers in both classical and musical theater styles.
