I loved everything about the day and was so appreciative of Marlayna and her team. The day went by so fast I'm sure I would've missed something. We had 3 different locations and so many vendors...it really was a mess in my head. I wish you were with me the whole way, but I'm thankful you stepped in as wedding coordinator.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I started helping friends with events. As we were graduating college and moving on with life I had people that we're having babies and weddings and I just liked helping being a part of making special memories in their life.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    Ask if a business is properly registered with the state and that they have the licenses appropriate for their business. Ask if a business is properly insured for your big day. Ask about cost of items not included in the upfront billing process. Ask for references and/or a portfolio of work. ASK FOR A CONTRACT...THIS PROTECTS YOU AS WELL AS THE PROFESSIONAL.
