Ah, where do I begin? Joe is absolutely one of the best writers I have ever worked with. Period. When we worked together (mostly at the late, great Gardner Advertising, among others), we often wore each others hats. By that I mean that Joe is extremely visual in his thinking, and very open to copy ideas from the design person. It was not uncommon for him to come up with the visual idea and for me to supply the headline. We both loved this arrangement, and I think we were all the better for it. In past years I have really missed working with Joe, but I still hold out hope that we will work together again. Needless to say, I think he is one of the best and most fertile minds I have known, and I miss those days beyond words. They were the best times of my life. i wish him nothing but success in his concepting, writing and guitar playing. Mike Whitney
I can bear witness to the truth that many a good idea has been smothered to death by words, but when you put that idea in the hands of a master wordsmith? Ah, that idea comes to life and not only breathes but draws people in to "live" the idea. Steve has a keen wit, a sensational sense of humor; mix those stellar traits with the skill and expertise he possesses and you've got a win-win situation and... meaningful results.
Daniel and his wife Jan are professional instructors, came to our home, and accommodated 4 students in the class. He is prepared, organized and makes it very personal with related stories and experience. I would highly recommend Daniel for this type of training.
One of the best writers that I have ever met and has been indispensable to my success. Enjoys a reputation for having a fine character and an outstanding work ethic.
As a copyeditor, Erin Griggs is thorough and possessed of a discerning eye, catching those things that its all too easy for a writer to miss once theyve lived with a manuscript for a considerable amount of time. As a content reader, she excels, bringing a broad base of academic knowledge, an understanding of genre conventions, and ability to frame story questions with sensitivity, never imposing personal preference on an authors intent or vision. Barbara Caridad Ferrer, RITA and International Latino Book Award winning author
Nicole Jordan is a natural when it comes to writing. I clearly remember the first blog of her's I read, and that was over two years ago! The blog was actually a recounting of a church event Nicole experienced. I was at this event, as was a friend of mine who forwarded the blog on to me. I remember the evening to be a good evening, but not an amazing one. Nicole's experience was very different, and her blog expressed it powerfully. I noticed two things about Nicole as I read that blog. First, I noticed how effortlessly her words flowed. The words were linked together with simplicity, but included just enough artful touches of words dashed in to remind you that Nicole is a deep thinker. That balance was impressive. The second thing I noticed was even more moving. Nicole, as bright as she must be to be able to write so well, is teachable. That church experience created an "aha" moment for Nicole, and she acted on it. Many capable people are satisfied with their level of accomplishment. I believe Nicole, even with the talent she already demonstrates, is only beginning to scratch the surface of her potential. It was because of her raw talent and innate ability that I asked Nicole to help me write a book I have been working on. Already, her ability to discern the direction of the book and her ability to better articulate what I am trying to say have made this a better book. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
The service was great. I'd asked him to write me an action scene for my book. I know what I'm not good at. I asked him for 3000 words and he delivered exactly when he said he would. He also kept me aware of his daily schedule and when he was working on the project. The finished product was polished nicely and fit great. Would definitely hire him again if needed.
I specialize in helping small, medium and large businesses with web site copy, newsletters, marketing collateral and other writing services. I am professional, flexible and reliable. I can provide content for nearly any industry.

How does your kiddo learn? By listening? By doing? By seeing? A combination of both? What makes them come alive in learning? What can connect them to the subject they are studying? This is what I strive for in teaching any student. I tailor instruction to your child's individual learning strengths and develop a plan to engage them in what they are learning. I spend time in the first meeting interviewing parents and child to assess this. Is your child struggling over a simple concept in one area? Do they need broader instruction for a subject? Do they want to get ahead in a subject? I'm your mom. This tutoring experience is called Peanut Butter Waffles Academy, which is what my daughters called their home-school. I homeschooled both of my daughters and was a co-op teacher, for five years. I now strictly offer tutoring for and full lessons for public, private and homeschoolers in grades K-8. Subjects that I cover in those grade levels are as follows, but not limited to: grammar, reading, writing, cursive, math (up to pre-algebra), science, history, music theory, music history, social studies, and art history. I am available during the regular school year, Monday-Friday from 7am-10am and 4pm-8pm, Saturdays from 11am-4pm. On school breaks and summer, I am available Monday-Friday, 10am-8pm and Saturdays from 11am-4pm (excluding holidays.) I will make exceptions on a case by case basis. I am college educated, currently trying to finish a degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. I have extensive experience with Aspergers Syndrome, ADHD, and ODD. I have two daughters of my own, one of which was homeschooled from 2nd to 6th grade and is now attending 8th grade. She is on the honor roll and taking accelerated classes. The other daughter did preschool and kindergarten at home and is ahead of her class as well. In my spare time, I volunteer as a troop leader and a service unit manager for Girl Scouts KCMO. I have been a troop leader in girl scouts for almost six years. I have numerous references. I am currently employed part-time with Park Hill School District in Kansas City as a lunchroom/recess supervisor.
