- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was always interested in art more than any other subject. I wanted to make a living as a artist but I didn't want to be a "starving artist". I love type. I was creating art with type when I realized that typography was an actual art form and only a part of a big picture. So, graphic design came organically. Type is still - generally my favorite part of layout and design.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For an agency to clearly communicate the message of their clients it is necessary to become an expert on each unique business model. Then create a plan that speaks to their target audience with a message that is well thought out and memorable. It is easy to get lost in the shuffle. With some thoughtful research and development - marketing and advertising you will stand out from your competition.
