Latest Review: I have been weight lifting with Michael one-on-one, three times a week for over a year now and can truly say that he is head and shoulders above all other trainers in the Richmond area. I have worked with several trainers around town and have also participated in some of the more popular gym and group fitness classes (bootcamps & Crossfit). Michael takes a holistic approach to fitness and not only pushes you beyond your own perceived limits, but will help you to examine all aspects of your lifestyle to identify any obstacles and/or potential de-railers. At the onset of my training with Michael, my goal was to help make my workout more well-rounded by adding weight lifting to my mostly cardio workout. Now, I'm not only lifting weights above what I thought was do-able for my middle-aged, female body, but exceeding those weights with a safe and steady progression. I always feel confident in his abilities to help me to lift safely and effectively. I recommend Michael to anyone who is serious about their fitness and ready to make a positive change to their workout routine.
