Introduction: The mission of the Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland is to improve the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson's disease, through programs, education, advocacy and research.
Our programs include, but are not limited to the following: wellness classes, boxing, speech classes, handwriting classes, movement exercises, and support groups, for both the patient and the caregiver.
We work with medical professionals to provide the latest research. The foundation provides exercise classes, supplies and consultations to those affected. Most importantly, we share our love and support to those battling Parkinson's. Our patients and their caregivers enjoy our programs, our hugs, and our friendship. They benefit from our programs and service.
