What an exceptional group! I had 23 windows installed for thousands less than other quotes. We had a few minor hiccups along the road including a delay in work completion due to the decline in production during covid 19 however the quality and timeliness still surpass my expectations. Alan with builders direct was a great salesman, he totally sold me on going with their company and I was not disappointed. I was informed of the process at each step and was notified if there were any questions to help the project go smoothly. Otto was my crew lead and he had so much knowledge of what to do and how to work around issues that arise when installing windows on a house that was built in 1946. As you can imagine with a house this old, things don't always go as anticipated. I appreciate this company and the people that make it so great.

We are in the midst of putting solar panels on our roof. As a result of a structural engineering analysis, it was determined that our 22 year old roof needed to be replaced prior to the solar panel installation. I looked at a few contractors and ultimately settled on Builder Direct. Here are some of the reasons why. Challenge of the project - We have a 120 year old home with a pretty steep roof. I had the roof replaced in 1997, so I knew it could be replaced, but I actually had one roofer tell me his team would not do it. Alan and his team took a look, and while they agreed it was a steep roof (and the roofers had to get creative with getting materials up on the roof), he assured me the project was doable. And that this aspect in itself would not affect the price of the project. He was correct! We had a slight adjustment for materials, which could happen any where, but that was it. Professionalism - Our roof was replaced while my wife and I were out of town on vacation. We returned home and the project was finished and the roof looked great. But there was a bit of a snafu. My HVAC contractor informed that the line set running from the ground unit to the roof (we have a three story house with zoned heating and cooling) had been punctured in several places, probably as a result of the roof replacement, which explained why the 3rd floor was not cooling properly. I reached out to Alan to discuss and we agreed to have one of his HVAC associates review the damage first hand just to ensure the estimate for repair was within a reasonable range. It was determined that this was the case. As such, Alan agreed to knock off this amount from the final invoice for the project, so I could pay my HVAC contractor directly for the repair work. Alan handled this very professionally and was very apologetic as to the damage itself. These things happen, but the way he dealt with it made all the difference in the world! All in all, I think Alan and his team did an extraordinary job on the project. I would use them again in as heartbeat, no questions asked!

Work hasn't started yet but Alan gave us so many financing options. Not only are we able to complete the roofing & gutters but also cover the $2500 insurance deductible and purchase 8 new windows & 2 entry doors with affordable payments! Other companies came in with similar pricing & warranties but no one could help with our high deductible!

There is no way you're not gonna like this guy and his contractors. Pleasant, Priced fairly, No pressure, 0% financing. They installed James Hardie Fiber Cement siding Navy Blue lap and white white trim. We did some windows and a small deck in the back my pictures weren't good. Our pricing is all in writing, guaranteed with NO GOTCHAS. We're happy to work up pricing online as well. A brief on-site visit is recommended to confirm measurements, colors, styles, etc., We offer a 12-month price good for an entire year. We do offer seasonal discounts for folks ready to schedule their projects and any current manufacture discounts including SPECIAL financing promotions may be available. Current Promotion is $0 down 0% financing for up to 60 months! Promotions change so just give us a call and we can discuss.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the customer reaches out to us to request a quote, Myself or one of my partners will call or email to discuss the project. We'll set a quick appointment, at their convenience, to meet and do a thorough estimate of the project. We bring the showroom to our customers, so we'll have all the samples with us....windows, siding, and roofing to demonstrate. We'll take some measurements at your home and answer any and all questions that you have. We'll go over all costs, project times, and financing options we offer. Once the customer is ready to move forward, we'll assign a project manager and move the project towards order and scheduling. We've done this a long time and enjoy making it seamless and simple for the home or business owner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I come from a family of building contractors. I started in the business @ 20 years old. I am now 58. I'm a Class A Licensed General Contractor, so I can build anything from a bridge over the Missouri River to a house full of windows in your home. We're registered with the Attorney General, are fully insured, and have licenses in all the areas that we work. Customers love our A+ Better Business Bureau Rating with ZERO complaints..We are also an ACCREDITED member of the BBB which means they have checked our work, references, backgrounds, and we agree to uphold their high standards...less than 5% of contractors are a part of this group.
