I am retired alternative creative arts educator with experience as a promotion writer for University Press of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas and a trade market writer with Macmillan Publishers in New York City. I am interested in journalistic writing for contemplation and self-discovery with Ira Progoff Intensive Journal protocols. I helped adapt children's literature for LifeSong Theater for Special Populations in Manhattan, Kansas, so children in community and adults in corrective institutions could learn about themselves in mythology and history.
I created Elf Editing so I could help publishers of a children's nature workbook make sure all answers to quiz questions were printed correctly for the children. (I'd found an error in a workbook purchased on the newsstand.)
I offer Elf Editing now to help writers of all ages and persuasions find focus and clarity of grammar, for their own sake and for sake of those they want to touch.
