Excellent sidewalk repair and installation. Arrived on time, provided quality work, communicated well, and were very professional. We hired them again for window repairs and glass replacement, which was done with similar quality, professionalism, and value. We highly recommend them and will hire them again.
Jose did a wonderful job on my whole-house plaster repair at a very reasonable price.
Kerry made this entire experience so easy... from deciding what actually needed to be done, to completing the entire project in a couple of hours... I could not be more happy. And, a pretty severe torrential downpour this morning tested out our new gutters, and no water in the basement makes me the happiest customer ever! Thanks Kerry and team!
Mark was great to work with. His crew was very friendly and professional. We had minor roof repair, house, deck and pergala power washed. Deck and pergala were stained. A new upper porch and stairs installed. Job was completed in 2 1/2 days, one day was short due to inclement weather. Area was completely cleaned up when finished. Cost of project did not exceed estimate cost. Will hire them for more projects in the future.
Initially hired Mickey and asst to bring new table saw (366 lbs.) from garage where delivered to my basement workshop. So please by effort and result increased scope (and doubled cost) by having them assemble saw and have requested them back for a much larger job involving a major internal household move and the addition of 220v outlets.
installed basement window in less than 48 from initial bid. quick, clean, reasonable price and most importantly, quality work.
Artem responded to my request for window repairs within an hour and the quickly gave me an estimate that same day. He had three windows completed within three days. He said it would take two hours but the job was completed in one hour. Very professional, friendly and helpful. Great experience!
Mark did amazing work painting the back of my house and repair wood root. Very thorough with his work. Also responsible in price. I recommend Mark for anything. Hard working.
Paul was super fast in installing my two upstairs windows
Did good job cleaning gutters but left a some mess - not it's not a big deal - I'll just blow the debris with my leaf blower once it dries. Reasonable price, arrived on time, pleasant. Thanks!
Gary is nice, extremely fair, honest & thorough. When he says he'll be at your house at 9:00, he's there. I will be using him again for a full roof repair & would highly recommend him to friends & family.
Great guy running the business. He seems like he actually cares about the quality of the work and getting everything correct, not just getting it done. Easy to work with, easy to get a hold of, and competitive pricing. Excellent job on cement sealing, drywall and baseboard repair and helping to find issues related to the above.
Manny professionally and creatively finished some tricky trim work around some basement windows, a ledge shelf, door and fence repair. The finished work looks great and we appreciate his expert attention to detail. He made the time to do this work over the weekend which worked out great for both of our schedules. Manny's a flexible, professional, talented contractor and we look forward to working with him on other projects around our home in the future.
Chris has done a couple different projects for me over the years. He just did a kitchen remodel at my house with concrete countertops. My wife and I are very pleased with his work, and his attention to every detail. We will definitely use his services again!
They helped us replace a broken window. We will definitely use them again and will probably use them here soon to replace a couple of doors. They were professional, efficient and very courteous. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Michael and his crew were great! They did an amazing job! I'm very happy with the finished basement and the repairs they did, they are very trustworthy and did excellent work!
Mr. Williams showed up on time and the quality of his work was excellent. He cleaned up after all of the work was done, and made wise recommendations when solicited questions about other potential work. I will use Mr. Williams again for a larger project such as finishing a room in the basement to make it an office. Again, superb work and professionalism and the work was completed in the designated time. L. Bailey
Front porch repair. new roof on porch and new railing and power washed porch and steps.
I am extremely impressed with Holderman Construction. I recently hired this company for a project that involved several components, both indoor and exterior components, and I was completely satisifed with the results of every single component. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but among the highlights of working with this company were the excellent communication and feedback, the punctuality, great professionalism, and above all, the incredible attention to detail and high work quality, along with an excellent value - these guys put a lot of labor into my project at more than a fair price. And they were extremely easy to work with. My project lasted 4 days and they were great to interact with every single day, and did quality work every day. They were polite, friendly, and clean. They even removed their shoes, and did an outstanding job with post-project cleanup. The main interior project was bathroom remodeling of cabinets. We had attempted previously to have someone use color stain to re-stain our cabinets and trim, and we just never liked the results. So this project was starting to add up in cost, with a readily we didn’t really like. Ray (the primary/owner) and Aaron (one of his main partners) did an absolutely outstanding job on the bathroom cabinets. They fully sanded all the drawers and doors down so that the previous and original stains/polyurethane were completely removed before applying the color stain again. That was a critical component, because in the end, the color stain ended up looking terrific - even better than I’d hoped it would look. My expectation of how they should look when completed came from the swatches of the particular color I selected (rustic grey) for the color stain I’d purchased. We realized that the previous application of that same stain, we weren’t really seeing the wood come through the stain, but instead the previous (original) stain, becuase it hadn’t been fully removed. In the end, the cabinets and trim looked BETTER than that expectation! Ray and Aaron really hit it out of the park on this one. And when they were done with the sanding and staining, they cleaned up really well from the dust and there was very little lingering chemical smell from the stain. Awesome! I also had them fix some lingering plumbing problems that had frustrated me because a previous contractor was not able to resolve them. Not Holderman Construction - fixed them both for good. The remaining components of my project were wood rot repair and storm door installation. I really loved what they did with both of these tasks. Seems straightforward but there is the materials aspect - which product, wood or vinyl, etc. There was an odd complexity to the back door wood rot that introduced a potential obstacle but Ray and Aaron were able to find a solution and overcome it by finding the right type of wood at the right thickness (original builder apparently chose an unorthodox door and window frame thickness for SOME but not all of my windows and doors). They repaired the wood rot and painted over it and it looks great and is of course no longer rotted. But the real bonus for me was that in the process, Ray managed to correct an incredibly vexing problem with the main back door in front of the storm door - it was not level, and leaking a TON, and I mean a TON of air through the bottom and the sides. I didn’t go into the storm door installation with any expectation of improving the air flow issue for that door, but that’s what I ended up with. An almost complete remediation of that problem. I am absolutely thrilled with the back door now. It closes properly, it’s level, and virtually no air coming in! That’s only been bothering us for 15 years now. On top of that, several other contractors tried, but ultimately failed, to resolve that issue with the door. And come to think of it, at least one if not two previous contractors told me they’d fixed wood rot issues that they really did not fix. Well, they’re fixed now, becuase Holderman Construction fixed them CORRECTLY. Ray is highly attentive to detail, does quality work, at a more than fair price. You can tell he knows what he’s doing. And I can say the same for Aaron, his partner. I really enjoyed working with them, and not only would I hire Holderman Construction again, but I’m sure right now that I WILL hire them again for other projects I have waiting. I highly recommend them.
We had them paint rooms, repair beams in our basement and install new supports/piers. Install doors and door knobs on all our new interior doors. They went above and beyond. Very professional and meticulous and they even stayed late into the evening hours to get the job finished as promised. Highly recommended!!!!
