- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All estimates are a free service. The price of our projects includes the labor, paint, and supplies to complete the job. If your house or building has wood repairs the price would include the wood, materials and tools to complete the job. We do run specials throughout the year through advertisements and other promotions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We contact all new customers within a couple of hours of receiving an estimate request. We thoroughly walk you through the process of every new project. Gecko Painting explains the steps we use to complete the process, color consultation, labor crew details, schedule and billing. There is a crew leader for every production crew as well as a project manager. The repaint manager and estimator are in daily contact with the crew and project manager for added support to ensure your project is completed with excellence.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My name is Kyle Knop. I am the Repaint manager at Gecko Painting. I started painting 27 years ago while I was going to college. I was trained by my first boss who had been painting for 15 years and was running a company with college students. I had additional training from my next boss working on all types of projects. I have worked on interior and exterior repaints as well as commercial projects. I have owned and managed companies with projects in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, California, Utah, Washington and Florida.
