Introduction: Hello! I'm Rebecca. I want you to feel and move better. How your body moves directly impacts the quality of your life. My integrative approach of training, yoga, somatic movement, and texture sensory stimulation will help you build a strong foundation in your body for optimal results! Our sessions will begin with a holistic viewpoint--seeing you as whole, and meeting you where you are. After an assessment, we'll design a plan to integrate movement in whatever modality works best for you. Integrated Somatic Training (IST) is about you practicing your body by sensing how you feel while in motion and what patterns your body defaults to. Somatic movement uses your brain to change pain and helps create new responses and movement patterns. IST is effective because the nervous system is engaged to create a receptive neuro-sensory state that informs your body that it is safe and ready to move! IST invites self-inquiry: How is my body now? What needs strengthening, activation, or rest? Integrated somatic training is a holistic approach that teaches you to know your body and practice so that you return to movement that is natural and sustainable! OFFERINGS: Soma-Yoga Basics: Focuses on foundational work of Alignment, Breath, and Constructive rest, (ABC's) and foundational asanas/postures with mindfulness practices. Also includes hatha style where you can expect to hold postures to build stability and mental focus. Integrated Soma-Training: Personal training and introduction of somatic groundwork and mindfulness practices. We will work at your ability level (where you are) and build upon the 3 S's: Stability, Strength, and Sustainability. Sensory texture stimulation will be integrated into each of the phases. MODALITIES: ○Somatic Groundwork ○Barefoot training ○Balance training ○NeuroSensory training ○Body weight training ○Kettlebell ○HIIT (Hi intensity interval training) ○Pelvic floor training PRIVATE INSTRUCTION: ●Private movement session 1-1 ●Sessions are 1 hour. ●Co-create a personalized yoga practice. ●Manage pain, stress, and improve sleep and mental focus. ●Enjoy freedom of movement!

Rebecca works with my patient who has some cognitive deficits. Her knowledge base on body movement and it’s effect on cognition has taught me (BSN-RN) more than I learned in nursing school. My patient has had increased stamina, increased range of motion, improved eye hand coordination, and improved moods. My patient calls the day Rebecca comes her favorite day of the week!
