My son has taken English style ridding lessons from Dana for two years. We started with no knowledge of horses or riding. Dana is so patient and kind with children (and their parents who may also know NOTHING about horses). Dana has definitely gone above and beyond to help my son become an excellent rider. She can sense when you need to be challenged and when a rider may need more time to master a skill. If you have experience riding or you are just starting….I highly recommended Dana!

I'm writing a review a year and a half after first selecting them on Thumbtack. We were not necessarily looking long-term, but fell in love with the horses and the family at Clanton. We have now experienced parties, horse camp and showing in addition to weekly lessons. They have been flexible with us and my daughter has not grown tired of riding at all. She is thriving with the very patient and perceptive Erin as her trainer. This place really feels more and more like family and offer the full range of what you might want out of horse riding. They do both western and English and variations of both. There are team building opportunities for those who choose to show. There is no pressure yo show if that's not something you're interested in. Their boarding is reasonable (I don't yet have a horse, but we are looking into it and getting lots of help from everyone at Clanton on all aspects and l, again, no pressure at all). We love it here

My daughter & I have been taking lessons at Abby Road Farm with Kelly for over 5 years. We love it! It has been a great environment for my daughter to not only learn how to ride and about horses but about perserverance, self-discipline and self-esteem. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Marlowe was an incredible instructor to my son Connor who is 15 years old. She was patient, kind, and more than willing to educate my child on everything he needed to know for his very first horseback riding lesson. We will definitely be going back to her again

I've been really impressed with Daphne's instruction and guidance. As an older rider, I've experienced a variety of trainers over my riding career and Daphne is by far the best I've worked with. By reinforcing a true hunter-style ride, rather than accepting rushing through jump courses, Daphne helps riders and horses work together and truly enjoy the experience. Don't worry if you don't have your own horse, their lesson horses are fantastic, well-loved, & well taken care of! You can't go wrong with Two Bit Training!!!

Lisa Mullen brings to the table decades of experience as a rider, trainer and equine caretaker. I've personally experienced her steadfast commitment in teaching technique, proper equine care and more. Her horses are stellar! I've always had the best experiences riding. She is very friendly, reliable and competitively priced. I would highly recommend her and her facility.

Kelly is a great person, a true horse lover and an excellent, patient teacher. She's great with kids and adult learners both and is able to adjust her style to the age and learning styles of different riders.
