Introduction: Hello! My name is Alissa Thomassen, and I am the owner and lead photographer of Alissa Brianne Photography. I am a Mizzou graduate who studied Architecture-Interior Design as well as Photography. When people ask why I have chosen to be a photographer, my answer is simple: when someone hires a photographer, they are in a wonderful time in their life. Whether it's a new baby on the way, a newly engaged couple, or a grandma with her grand kids, I love sharing these exciting moments and capturing them on camera. I am so thankful that I am able to do something that I am so passionate about. I am primarily an on-location, natural light photographer, but I also set up in-home studios (including lighting and backdrops). I reside in Kansas City and specialize in photography of families, seniors, engagements, weddings, newborns, and pets. Thank you for stopping by, and I look forward to working with you!

Alissa took our family group photos as well as our son's senior year photos. She has a unique eye for taking creative pictures. She showed patience in keeping our younger children engaged in the photo shoot. The one-of-a-kind props Alissa uses are an added special touch.

AMAZING! Alissa knows how to capture just the right shots. It was wonderful to work with a photographer that took the time to find out our needs and expectations. She was then able to maximize our time together to get the best possible images. Unlike some photographers who take a couple of photos hoping to get a "good one," Alissa takes more than enough so that you are guaranteed that "perfect one." She does quality work at a very reasonable price. We will DEFINITELY be using her services again!
