- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After experiencing depression in my own life, I sought help through therapy and exercise. After training for my first marathon, I realized how much better I felt. My mind was clear and my body felt vital again! Running, practicing yoga and mindful meditation was a combination that worked for me! I discovered that movement is medicine and emotions are connected to movement. I no longer felt stuck in depression and I wanted to share how I worked my way back to wellness. Completing coursework for certification was very empowering. I became a trainer to help others own their body again, energetically, physically, and spiritually. I want to empower clients to discover sustainable strategies for daily self-awareness and basic holistic/healing skills through a variety of practices.
