I believe it is due to this that I see the results Im looking for when training with him. Im stronger, more confident, and during training Im frequently surprised to find that I can do more and better than I thought I could. Kens boot camps easily surpass any others I have tried in the past, as he provides consistent attention, guidance, and last, but not least, motivation! When I first moved to Kansas City, MO, I wanted to find a convenient gym and a knowledgeable trainer to push me further in obtaining my goals. I was very fortunate to meet Hannah who mentioned her husband, Matt, may have openings for personal-training sessions. I have been meeting Matt for over five weeks now and have had an extremely positive experience during every session with him. Matt clearly demonstrates knowledge in his profession while maintaining a fun and upbeat attitude. He is flexible with his time and approach and I always feel I can ask questions and bounce around various ideas. Matt takes the time to challenge your routine and find new ways to bring you closer to your goals. I truly believe both Hannah and Matt are committed to providing positive experiences to their clients and are willing to put in as much effort as their trainee. I have an artificial ankle and needed to lose weight to prolong the life of my ankle. Jon was able to tailor workouts around my limitations. Jon's workouts were challenging, but he is motivating and encouraging. He also taught me how to eat a healthy diet. With Jon's help I saw great results!!!
My experience working with Stephanie (a HitchFit trainer) so far is amazing. I had two trainers at different companies prior to being with Stephanie and I was worried that this would just be another waste of time. It certainly isn't. I love working with her, she pushes you and motivates you and doesn't make you feel like you're lesser because you can't do something right now. I was in an accident, so I've had to put my training on hold while I recover, and she's so understanding. She will message me and ask me how I'm doing and honestly she's one of the best people I know and I haven't even known her that long. I miss training, and can't wait till I'm recovered and cleared to go back to training because Stephanie is awesome. They have a private location next to a whole foods that I go to, and there has never been more than 2 other clients (and their trainers) in the "gym" the same time as me. It's a comfortable space, they have showers and lockers, and the most important of all is the heart behind HitchFit. Thanks so much HitchFit, you have restored my faith in personal trainers, and everyone I know knows just how much I love training at HitchFit!
I started training with Cori when I was at my absolute heaviest. In all honesty, I wasn't sure how I'd gotten there, nor was I sure how to get my body back. When I started working out with Cori I began seeing results quicker than I had imagined, which gave me the motivation to keep at it. Cori kicked my &$& during each session and I loved her for it (even though I sometimes secretly hated her for it, lol). She's positive, energetic, hugely motivational, and doesn't let you slack off (which was a big plus for me)! She's also just a blast to be around! She held me to my goals, and took measurements, BMI assessments, etc... regularly, which really helped to keep me on track. She honestly understood my goals, and wanted me to achieve them, even more than I did!

I am Jamie Spenner from Las Vegas, NV I had the best time at the HitchFit Gym May of 2010!!! I made arrangements through a few e-mails and a phone call or two to pay the Personal Training Fee, to work out at the gym with Diana, and that she would train me at an advanced level and actually video the workout to be posted to the Fast Track site as one of the regularly scheduled group workout videos! (What in the world did I get myself into?) So Saturday rolls around and I am driving to the Hitch Fit Gym. That was an adventure in itself! (Dont trust the GPS! It will lead you to an open lot!) So with a quick call to Diana and a few simple instructions I found the Gym much easier! I parked the car and ended up walking through the back door wandered through the gym to the front entrance and found the foyer was filled with photos, magazine covers, trophies and medals won by both Diana and Micah! Walk a little further and the wall is filled with so many before and after transformation photos of their clients! I peek into one area of the gym and see Micah working one of his clients doing what I call horse training where Micah has a strap around the waist of the client and holds him back on the reigns as he tries to run! Looks like a great strength cardio exercise! I go into the weight training area and Find Diana busy with a client on the calf raise machine, and it looks like another trainer is busy with a client on the pull up bar. So how would I describe the gym? I would call it an Oyster Farm where a small grain of sand is placed into an oyster and is worked over and transformed into a beautiful pearl! The oyster isnt much to look at from the outside but a lot of work goes on inside! The walls of the gym were filled with photos of the pearls that were transformed and polished! Enough for not only a beautiful multi-strand long necklace but a bracelet and matching earrings too! I am early so I wave to Diana and ask if I could walk around and take some photos while she is finishing up with her client, I get some good photos and a short video clip or two and then get onto the elliptical machine to get myself warmed up and loosened up and stretched out in preparation of my workout. The trainers all finish up with their clients, and I get called into the office, Diana starts her assessment of my physical abilities, asks about any medical problems and Micah and the other trainer are taking bets on how long it would take them to work me out and get me to puke! One says I can get him to puke in 10 minutes! Micah says he can do it in 7! Diana rolls her eyes and shoos them out as she continues with her assessment. Every trainer I work out with I learn something new, some tip or trick. This time I learn a little more about myself, and am told by Diana that I need to believe more in myself, to believe that I am! I need to not believe that I can, or making I will statements, that part is over for me now, it has served me well up to that point. I needed to believe that I am strong, believe that I am a body builder, and believe that I am the best! Using self affirmation, to believe that I am what I want to be. It is harder than you think. Try looking in the mirror and saying those things to yourself right now! So I got to meet Ellen who will be doing the camera work for the day! We all know Ellen The fabulous fitness model! (Ellen is drop dead gorgeous by the way) Little did I know that Ellen got to put together my workout by choosing every single difficult exercise that she knew! If you ever have a personal trainer laugh it isnt because something is funny or that you are doing great, it usually means they have thought up some new exercise to torture you with, and Diana was smiling and laughing through my whole work out! So after the workout I had some time to ask a few interview questions before her next client, and had to hit my protein shake and get back onto the elliptical machine to cool down and loosen up the legs a bit more! By the way my legs were screaming for 3 days after the workout! If I could share one thing with each of you that I learned from this experience, it would be for you to believe in yourself, never put yourself down, talk back to that little voice that says you cant, keep moving forward and transition from thinking you can, to making I will statements, to following through with your meals and exercise, to believing YOU ARE and becoming the best you possible.
My wife and I both have received weekly training from Josh for several years. What an amazing professional. He comes to each workout with a different routine adapted to our skill and fitness level and makes excellent use of our time from the first minute. We considered private gyms, but we can hands down say this is the absolute best use of our time and funds to get fit the right way. You can't miss with Josh. A genuinely great guy with a great insight into fitness and motivation for all ages and body types!

Hi, My name is Tanya Harger, I'm 41yrs old and David was my personal trainer for 9 months. What a grueling, awesomely wonderful 9 months it's been from Feb '11 to Dec '11 . When I signed up to join the gym I had no intentions of getting a personal trainer but as part of the package when signing up you got 3 free sessions. As luck would have it, I got David and as time would tell I got the best out of the 4 personal trainers at the gym. I knew after 3 sessions if I wanted to be successful with my goal of losing the fluff and getting toned and in shape I had to keep David. I wasn't really overweight to begin with but I was fluffy around the middle, had no real muscle tone or endurance. Now after 9 months it's a different story and it's all because of David and his guidance, from my eating to my workouts. First I had to start keeping a daily log of what I ate everyday. That was hard at first but David was very helpful and supportive. If I had a question about what I should or shouldn't eat all I had to do was text him and he would answer. He also let me know when I pulled a no no and ate something I shouldn't. Second, we worked on getting me in shape through a combination of cardio and strength training and this was a grueling process for me at first. David was awesome with letting me know what a good job I was doing and keeping me from getting discouraged while pushing me to do more, even when I didn't think I could. I left every session whipped and drenched in sweat but feeling like I actually accomplished something good. I went from 136lbs to 126lbs, from a size 6 to a size 3/4. The fluff is gone, my stomach is flat and toned. My arms and legs have muscle definition. I was able to accomplish this because I had David in my corner guiding me, helping me and pushing me. What I liked about David's way of training compared to other trainers was he isn't just about the weights. He puts workout routines together that keep you moving and working so your heat rate stays up and you're able to burn more calories. I was able to get my cardio and strength training in a 1hr session, which was a definate plus. I was so lucky to get David those first few sessions and keep him for those 9 months. Even though he has decided to move on to bigger and better things he has given me the tools to keep going and be successful in keeping fit and healthy. Anyone who has the opportunity to train with David, should take it. You won't be disappointed. He is truly a wonderful, awesome person through and through and a terrific personal trainer to boot.

I've been going to the boot-camp/high intensity interval classes for a year and I also go to Ray for personal training once a week. I am in the best shape I've been in and I've been working out for 40 years. Ray is very knowledgeable, tailors training session for you specifically and is very professional - you're there to WORK for sure. His boot camp classes are excellent and he makes them fun. I would LOVE to go to personal training sessions more often!
