- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Clients typically book from my website. When I meet the client in studio, I typically review the information from the client intake form with the client, discussing their goal for the session and areas of concern. I often ask questions in order to make sure I know what is bothering them so I can strategize how to best address those concerns. I then make sure that the client knows this is their session and I encourage feedback at any time during the massage so that I can meet the client’s goal, whether it be relaxation, or pain relief. I am very specific about the flow of the massage prior to starting a massage with a new client so they know what to expect. I make sure to answer any questions the client may have before we get started as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 800 hours of Massage Therapy training and education, including but not limited to courses in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Prenatal Massage, Sports Massage, and various other modalities of massage techniques.
