FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system can be found on our website. Mixnaster offers full and half day studio time blocks that you as a business or band can book out. Please call in advance and visit our website for pricing and more service details.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Often we like our clients to tell us what they need through email. Then someone from Mixnaster will call you (or someone from your band or business) to set up a time to meet in person. Then lastly, we can show you the facility in person and make plans to start planning out your project. Mixnaster will oversee the recording process, we don't expect anyone we work with to have experience inside a studio, and we are here to help make the process fun, easy, and successful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Employees at Mixnaster read a 500 page equipment magazine from front to back every month. Our interns are trained under our head engineer daily and understand not just audio, music, but also understand business, sociology, customer service, finance, investing, and the true key to business: the value of hardwork. Monthly our team attends local Kansas City based music organizations such as KC Jazz Ambassadors, Audio Engineering Society; Kansas City Chapter, Mutual Musicians Foundation.
